  1. Thanks for the info again. I have 753 images over 350kb. this could be a long night. I am importing the images that come straight from a ZIP file on to the server then extracting it, they are not categorized. When I import the product catalogue, it automatically links the image based on the image name. The import file does not have a path, will this automatically find the file in any of the image folders that I create and split them into? or will all images need to be in the root image folder? Just trying to sort out before I import the whole product database. Thanks for your help.
  2. Is there a limit on the number of images you can have in a folder? I have upload an images catalogue of 19,513 images and I'm getting the following error. If I delete most of them it starts to work. I get this error when I go into images then into the folder that I created called prod_img. Largest file size is 7.72mb HTTP 500 error That’s odd… the website can’t display this page The site may be undergoing maintenance or could have a programming error. Any ideas?
  3. ok i'm back up and running. I'll try that again later... thanks for the quick responses.
  4. I can't get into CubeCarts Admin I have access to the files via hosting file manager but that is all.
  5. HELP!! I've just installed the Enhanced Manufacturer plugin, free trial to see how it look and test it. But my site has gone down once it loaded. HTTP 500 error That’s odd… the website can’t display this page
  6. Is there away of list manufacturers on the front page? I'm using the default skin, foundation but wondered if this allows them to be listed in side box?
  7. That makes even more sense. Thanks for clarifying Al
  8. ok thank you, I will give them a go and have a look at your demo. Thanks
  9. Can anyone tell what the point of the button is on checkout after you have made payment? From the basket, you click pay with paypal, it takes you to paypal, you login and complete the transaction and it returns you back to your shopping basket but also asks you to click on the 'Make Payment' button with a message at the top saying "Please click "Make Payment" to complete your order." If you don't everything goes through order wise as if you had clicked it I think? and at this point you have already paid but the button state 'Make Payment' confusing! **** ok, I figured out the difference, no payment is stated unless they finalise it by pressing the 'Make Payment' button. And status shows 'Pending' Happy days.
  10. Can I clarify, is it better to use the invisible one over V2?
  11. Thanks for your reply bsmither. I will keep that in mind if it comes up again. Cheers.
  12. Good question. Something I wouldn't mind knowing too.
  13. Sorted the above. Deleted paypal account and started again. seemed to sort it out.
  14. Does anyone know why I am getting this error on my checkout? It is a new setup. I get it as soon as I hit pay with paypal. I have the following Paypal Extension installed: PayPal Website Payments Pro & Express Checkout integration. The following errors were detected: Error: Security header is not valid Security error Regards Mike
  15. Excellent. Let me know when you have and I will test it for you. Once that's in place and I'm setup I will get the advanced reporting. Cheers
  16. Hi Noodleman, As the cost is not recorded at the time of sale, I don't think it is possible. The adaptation that I have put in from bsmither now records the cost price at the time of sale. Let me know how you go on with it.
  17. That's brilliant bsmither. This needs to be incorporated along with the advanced reporting. I can work with this and get the profit margins from each sale by reports from sql. I have tested it and it works perfect. As far as hooks go... I've read the link, but it lost me. I know the principle now and I agree it would be better so an update doesn't effect it but I wouldn't know where to start. Just one other thing, when I was testing your code changes, I wanted to know at what point it creates the transaction in the order inventory table. Why does the checkout system asks you to complete your order after payment has been done? Why does it ask that? Has payment been made at that point if so why ask you to click to complete payment? At that point you have been passed back from eg. paypal. The order is still in the system even if you don't click on the button to complete it and click on the home button. Just wondered why it asks? Thank you again for that coding and changes for the cost price you're a star. Mike

  19. I have had a look and test the Advanced Reporting. It looks very good and gives all the details that I need except one issue with it. If you sell a product for £30 and the cost is £20 this gives £10 profit. This is fine. But.. If you sell the same product after a a few days and the cost price has now gone down to £15 then the first time you sold it and the second time you sold will show a profit of £15. This is not a true representative of the profit for the first time sold. It needs to be stamped and kept at the time of the sale. Any ideas? The simple solution is as bsmither said earlier.
  20. ok. do you have a link to it? Thanks for your help.
  21. That would be great. Its only the cost price that need in there. Can you help with it?
  22. Hi, Sorry I'm using this as your new Feature option isn't available. I am quite surprised this isn't already been requested. I along with a lot of other people need to know the profits generated when products are sold. A report generated that will get information stored from when a product is sold. This will show Date Sold, Item Sold, Price Sold, Cost Price and Details of who purchased it. Other option could be available on the report. At the moment, I can not see that the cost price is recorded at the time of the sale. Could this be considered for a future upgrade please. I wouldn't mind if there is a small charge as an add on extension. This is something that I feel is needed for a lot of people when it comes to profits and tax purposes. Regards Mike
  23. Thanks for your feed back bsmither. Yet again. lol# I will log it. Would there be a way to write to a Sales Table - Date, Product, Sold Price, Cost Price & Customer Name at he time of sale as a fix for the time being? Or would this take a lot of coding? Mike
  24. Does anyone know if the system keeps track of product sales along with the cost price at the time of sale? Look at it for profits and tax purposes. Thanks Mike
  25. Like bsmither said: You still have an extra {/IF} at the end.
