  1. Thank you for your help. After trying several things, I also found your earlier reply about getting into admin.  Long story short, I don't think everything was updated in the upgrade.  Database was still saying 6.4.2.  I restored my backup for that and my website came back.  I think you are right about me missing the new info, but even when I looked at the files there was no new admin_xxxxx.php file. So anyway, I am going to try again today to upgrade and watch for the 2 links.  I will let you know how it goes.  Thank you again.

  2. Thank you so very much bsmither!  Totally works now, and I can take a breath.

    Believe it or not, I was a programmer for over 20 years, but it was either the now ancient language of COBOL or in-house developing.  Have been worked with this in the past, but learn something new every day.

    Have a blessed day!

  3. So true, so true.  Everything now is pretty much working, but the login/register button in the header.  Tried redirect in  .htaccess file at root - that works for the register, but when click on login, still get a 404  Any ideas?  Here is the code in htaccess file:

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
      RewriteEngine On
      RewriteRule login{$CONFIG.seo_ext} login.html [R=301,L]
      RewriteBase /

      RewriteEngine On
      RewriteRule register{$CONFIG.seo_ext} register.html [R=301,L]
      RewriteBase /
  4. I am having the same problem with the login/register files.  I tried switching the SEO URL Extension to .html.in admin, but then the search didn't work either., so switched it back

    Changed the html to {$CONFIG.seo_ext} in the template to mimic the regular foundation skin as follows :

    <form action="{$VAL_SELF}" id="login_form" method="post">
             <p class="show-for-small-only">{$LANG.account.want_to_signup} <a href="{$STORE_URL}/register{$CONFIG.seo_ext}">{$LANG.account.register_here}</a></p>
             <h2>{$LANG.account.login}</h2>
             {foreach from=$LOGIN_HTML item=html}
             {$html}
             {/foreach}

    Is there other parts I need to change as well?

  5. Thank you so much for responding so quickly. I had looked previously looked for the .htaccess file and even though it said it was there, I could not find it, so I created another in the root directory for the store and it still was not working, then I had one of those "duh" moments after your message & sleeping on it, realized it may be a hidden file.  Sure enough - foundthe file this morning, removed the "/.html", deleted my file & now the website is back up & running like it is supposed to be.  Thank you sooo much!

  6. I am getting 404 errors when I click on anything, off of the home page, categories, products, even documents, get "Failed to load resource . . ."  In Cubecart  Admin says using PHP version is 7.2.34, but on hosing site says PHP version is 7.3.26, could this be the problem.  Been researching other similar errors on this forum & trying to figure this out for the last week & at loss. When I did update ended up with 2 admin, but made sure /incudes/global.inc.php reflected the new one.  Also when did update doesn't look like all of the folders/files updated to new version - do I need o try to reupdate?  Any insights, much appreciated.  website - shop.augustmoondesign.net

  7. Thank you so much for your reply.

     I feel real dumb right now.  I had done the rebuild and resubmitted it.  But was getting the same error, but today I figured out I wasn't giving them the whole path. Thought they (bots) found what they needed if you give them the website address.  I finished the path with /sitemap.xml.gz  and walahh it worked.

    So thank you very much for your help.

  8. I'm new to this, so please bear with me.  I have been trying to add Google Analytics to website, but I keep getting an error - Sitemap can be read, but has errors   Sitemap is HTML  (First line of source code does have HTML in it.)

    I tried researching what to do - said something about disabling cache, rebuild, then resubmit, but that was for WP sites.  Anyone have any ideas or does anyone else have this problem?

    Thank you for any help.
