I have upgraded to 6.1.4 and the site works but the URL for the admin just gives a blank page. I have cleared the cache and it brings up the user name and password but after that just shows a blank page where the admin should be. Any help would be appreciated. Mick

Anybody else had this happen? Now have it on 2 websites, clean installation 6.0.11 everything fine upgrade to 6.0.12 and now blank dashboard and maintenance. Have upgraded before with no problem why now on the latest version.

I don' have a file editor with the hosting or can't find it but have removed all the spaces and have no error log now.

I have upgraded to 6.0.12 from 6.0.11 it seemed to go well have also updated the database, php, now the dashboard and maintenance is blank also edit product is also blank. hosting with 123-reg PHP 5.6 Cleared cache and re-uploaded the files but still the same

Solved this some confusion with 123 reg host name was my server and database name was my username. Not clear at all on the 123-reg site.

I am trying to install latest V6 when I get to enter database settings it gives this error Incorrect database host, username, and/or password. I know the username and password are correct but 123 reg give this as the host - cust-mysql-123-02 or cust-mysql-123-03 or cust-mysql-123-04 or cust-mysql-123-05 I have tried these but it gives the error I have also tried localhost and my specific server to no avail I am sure there is a simple answer but I am at a loss can anyone help.

It worked fine before the upgrade and this is the full error message A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again. Pity it doesnt say what script. I have always been able to set 777 I use heart internet and it is PHP 5.3

I made the directory and all the files from 755 to 777, cleared the caches but the problem is still there it is a linux server.

I have upgraded to 5.2.4 now if I try and print an order I get this error message A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again. If someone could tell me what permissions to alter. Regards

I have been updated to the lastest v5 not sure where to find the version now. In the email template order complete I have entered {DATA.ship_method} {$DATA.ship_tracking} to get some detail. This stopped items being completed but when I go back and try to delete this and resave it will not alter and these items reappear. I have cleared cache on this. Can anyone tell me where email templates are stored in V5 and how to amend.

I would love to upgrade but with no easy and robust way to do this I have to stick to V4.4.6 . Upgrading in V4 was always painfull and not simple to do , It seems an upgrade path is the last thing given consideration and I think from a commercial point of view this should have been the first.

Price logic is such a fundamental thing in retailing Im surprised this has not been solved. Anyone know how to do this in 4.2.2
