I have been trying to get my website to redirect directknifesales.com to www.directknifesales. I asked my webhost for help and they made the www.directknifesales.com a subdomain to directknifesales.com. is this the correct way or are they way off? they didn't do anything in the .htaccess file. it does redirect to www not but not sure if its in the correct way. I don't want my main page showing as a sub do I? I am using 5.2.12

it worked! but now I have 2 more I don't understand. I used the internet explorer but version 6 is super old and I use the newest version. why would it matter what program I use to look up the link? /public_html/js/styles/images/internet_explorer/ ----should the folder internet explorer be there? if I delete it will it effect the program?

I had a guy order from me today and his order went through but it seems the program made another order for him and it didn't charge him for it and there wasn't anything in the basket and no shipping was charged. I can delete it but I cannot change it to declined or cancelled. I have been getting orders every now and then and it will charge the customer shipping but it wont put the items on the invoice and when the people are charged only the shipping price shows. I am using 5.2.12. when I look in the history tab of the order it says order complete processing pending order complete processing pending order complete processing pending order complete processing pending pending the time on these is all the same. any ideas?

he doesn't seem to be getting the validation code. I gave him a new password and he was able to get in.

I checked and it looks like he tried twice. it has an x next to the email of him. also he is trying to reset the password and says he doesn't know what the validation key is. why does he need a validation key for a new password? where is this validation # at?

he was registered on the 7th. before the upgrade. no he hasn't tried to login prior to this. he called me wanting to make an order since he couldn't get in.

I have a customer that ordered on april 7 2014. he came back an tried logging in again and It wont let him in. when I hit customer list, it shows him as registering on todays date in with the new people and showing his old order. any ideas? I updated from 5.2.4 to 5.2.11.

I updated to the newest version and when I logged into the site I got a message saying your store appears to be using 5.2.11 but the database is still at 5.2.4. please complete the upgrade by running the setup process. so I go to the setup process and push the update button and nothing happens. any clues on this?

I have another bug I think. when someone goes through checkout it will charge them shipping and show zero items in the cart. 1 x - ($0.00) is what is shows but it adds the shipping. I am using 5.2.10

I am trying to change the amount in my stock and it wont change. is this a bug? if I put in a number and push save it doesn't change. I am using 5.2.10

its php version 5.2.17. I had them turn it off. they said they had to link my site to the php.ini file and turn it off under php core configuration.

I just updated to the 5.2.10 from 5.2.8 and I am getting an error stating I need to turn off my registered globals in classes/debug.class.php on line 156. how do I do this?

i updated my site yesterday and when i went to myphpadmin i was unable to push the browse button on anything. i mentioned it to the hosting company and am not sure if they did something on their end to make this happen. after i updated my site it seemed to run better and i had no errors showing up. now i am getting an error in the system error log. i am using 5.2.4 and tried to change my signature but it wont do it for some reason. they immediately disabled my account without letting me fix it first. I did upgrade and the problem was fixed and I had no errors until later today.

its all there but when I try and look inside the history folder I just get a blank white page. am I pushing the wrong thing?

I have the setup folder that came with the 5.2.4. I went to setup/index.php. now what do I push? the continue button on the bottom or the update button on top?

I have been kicked off my hosting provider and they pulled out the script for seo urls. they said I was using to many resources and needed to fix it. I need some help on this one.
