I've done something similar to this for other customers previously, depending on your exact requirements I can probably help you out,

I released an update to the module this morning, version 1.0.1 as there were a few glitches with the initial release. https://www.noodleman.co.uk/file-upload-1-0-1-release-notes.html
-
This is now available https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/plugins/file-uploads-attach-files-as-product-options

And I've now released the initial version. I am offering it as a discounted price for the remainder of this month as an introductory offer. It's available to try out via the demo. https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/plugins/file-uploads-attach-files-as-product-options

Hey guys, file upload is written and just in the final stages of testing. It should be released either over the weekend or next week

As your not selling tickets, I think you can simply get away with updating a document on your store with upcoming event information manually. An events plugin is quite a lot of work to put together so might not be something that will be available soon.
-
And... now you have a solution via my latest plugin Have a look here for an overview: https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/plugins/absolute-matrix-option-prices-price-list-hide-out-of-stock-matrix-options

Sounds like a very simple plugin. You just want a report of customers who have accounts, but never purchased anything, right? I can produce this for you if you like, probably about 30 minutes work to add as a plugin so it requires no code changes, works out of the box. drop me a message if your interested.
-
I assume you want something much like the wordpress "Events" plugin. Will you be using your products as tickets? Can you give me an overview of your specific requirements.
-
I've actually written a filter plugin for another customer recently, but it was done for them and not released for sell. I've got a "refine" plugin on my to do list. Let me know some specific requirements and I will see if what I've got already will be suitable for you. Assuming the person who I developed it for is happy for it to be released it may do what you need.
-
my intention is to release something that works in my the same way naturalsigns has suggested they want it. I have a requirement for it myself for one of my own mini projects and I am aware others are interested in it, so it will get developed once i've wrapped up some other items.
-
I can do this for you if you want. It's similar to pre-order, just with some extra skin work. feel free to drop me a message to explore what you need
-
I've actually developed this for another customer today, it's currently in test. all being well I hope to release it soon

File upload is on my to do list

Store Landing Page or Portal vs. No landing page
Noodleman replied to djcaseanova's topic in General Discussion
I've seen it work both ways, some people want a custom landing page, some use the standard Cube#Cart home page document method. it entirely comes down to your business requirements and what works best to fulfil those requirements. If you have to remove one or the other and are concerned about gaps in links etc, you can use some htaccess rules to just redirect people to the appropriate location. -
Essentially you want to send your orders to a third party, then have them ship the goods on your behalf. Depending on the service provider you wish to use, the processes will vary. Should you need to integrate with a specific service provider I can help. I have integrated CubeCart with many third party systems and consider it one of my specialist areas. Feel free to reach out to me here, or via my support portal at https://www.noodleman.co.uk/support should you wish to chat further about it. All the best, Alec.

I've got this on my to do list. it's already started, just not out there yet. Been a bit busy with projects so haven't had time to complete and release this yet.

Thank you Roger, Always nice to get feedback

Display multiple prices including a weekly rental figure
Noodleman replied to stacelee's topic in Technical Help
Hi Stacelee, I can confirm that this module will do what you want as far as tax prices go. You can try it out in Demo mode for a week to see if it is suitable for you https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/plugins/show-prices-with-and-without-tax-/-vat I can also put together a small module that will allow you to define, and show your rental prices to customers if required. It would take about an hour to produce for you and work as a true plugin, so require no core cubecart code edits. You would need some minor adjustments to your store skin to show the extra info. Feel free to drop me a message if you want to discuss further. Alec. -
Good Morning, I am the developer of the plugin that was linked here. The module itself provides the underlying functionality for pre-orders to work and the supplied template code is intended to only serve as an example. You can achieve a lot of what you would like to do using the CubeCart template engine within your skin along side the module. For example, you could have your site developer add a javascript counter based upon the release date/ship date if one is defined. You can choose to show that the item is a pre-order to your customers in whatever way you would like via your store skin. It isn't possible to supply a module that will satisfy every requirement out of the box as almost ever store would like it to work a different way. It's due to this reason that this module adds the core functionality to CubeCart with the remainder of the steps needing to be build to suit your requirements within your store skin. All the best, Alec.

Another wish list - follow-up email for incomplete orders
Noodleman replied to sailing123's topic in Technical Help
I still have this in my queue, I've been very busy with customer projects recently which has meant less module development time. I hope to get it done in the next few weeks. -
Your welcome

Hellloooooooo. Thanks for the nudge to this thread Ian. I think what you really want to do is to create a new category, but have it hidden then assign the install CD to the hidden category. It will still be available as an addon, but not directly visible to the customer. You also suggested that you are using version 1.0.2 of the module, but the latest version is 1.0.7. I would suggest updating to the latest version, especially as you are using CC6. See: https://www.noodleman.co.uk/product-addons-1-0-7-release-notes.html

Good Morning, I've actually developed an in depth solution to this for somebody else recently, although this has not been released for general use. It sounds like you are looking for the same, or similar solution. My system allows the automated / manual sending of e-mails to suppliers once an order has been placed. It firstly obtains a quote from the supplier. If you are happy with the quote you can turn this into a full order. It sends a follow up order to the supplier and confirms the order. It supports sending of orders directly to your customer or to your store address. It saves previous quotes and can use previous quote prices within X amount of time. for example if a quote is over 28 days old it will request the most recent price from the supplier, if it is under 28 days old it assumes the price from the supplier is correct. The plugin I wrote to do this requires no code edits and is a true CC6 plugin. Perhaps I can write a modified version to meet your specific requirements. Please feel free to drop me a private message here or open up a support ticket at http://www.noodleman.co.uk/support and we can talk it over. All the best, Alec (Noodleman)
