  1. Hi Robin, I've just been pointed towards this thread, I hadn't spotted it. I am the author of the module you are trying to get working, so can definitely help you get it up and running. I can, and do make legacy versions of my modules available on request. It sounds like you need a legacy encoded version to work with your server. Please open a ticket via my support portal at http://www.noodleman.co.uk/support and I will be happy to provide you with the download link. All the best, Noodle
  2. I really like this idea, I will see if I can come up with a module to do this. I am a bit swamped at the moment with other modules, so can't say how quickly I can release this.
  3. I would be happy to write the solution for FraudTrackr if they would be willing to pay for the development time. I can produce it as a plugin which they can release for free.
  4. I have a new module to release as soon as CC6 is final and I am quite excited about it. I think it will become one of my more popular ones.. it's on final testing at the moment. Will be revealing more soon If you want any extra info about any of my plugins, let me know.
  5. your right, I overlooked that part.. Been one of those days! I opened a ticket on gitHub to see if that feature can be added to V6. https://github.com/cubecart/v6/issues/227 If it can't be easily added in a future version then I will look at developing a plugin that will do what you need.
  6. A coupon is the same thing as a gift certificate, at least in the way that they function. A coupon and gift certificate both allow the customer to use a code to apply a discount. A gift certificate can be purchased directly through the store by customers, they can then "gift" that to friends, family etc. A coupon is manually created by the admin with a specific code, discount value etc. It does not require the customer to purchase it. The behaviour I described above matches your description "I want a way to put a price on them without them being “purchasedâ€. That way I can hand them out for like drawings and/or promotions to either new or existing clients and they will work within my store." You can create coupons in advance of an event and hand them out. It just might take a while to create a whole bunch of them manually, but if you want hundreds or even thousands I can probably help you populate your database with a load of coupons. It won't take long to do..
  7. Ah, I know what you mean. You can do that using "Coupons". You can manually create coupons with specific codes. Set the discount type to be "Fixed Price Discount" and set the discount value to be whatever value you want for that code. You can also define the total number of times a voucher can be used as well as expiation dates. If you want to create lots of coupons then it could take a while. An import function for coupons would be useful.
  8. Looks like a very simple API. Exactly how does your existing plugin integrate with your store? Just trying to figure out at what points you would need to make the API calls etc.
  9. It sounds like what you really want is to be able to apply credit to a specific customers account. Any future orders they make will use the available credit and charge the customer the balance. I assume for your accounts you would also want the ability to see the transaction history, like a bank statement. This sounds like a fun project Can you confirm that is what you are looking for?
  10. All sorted. was an easier one to sort out because the options already existed in the matrix, so was just a simple SQL query to update the product codes of the matrix options. UPDATE CubeCart_option_matrix as om JOIN CubeCart_inventory i ON om.product_id = i.product_id SET om.product_code = CONCAT(i.product_code, om.matrix_id) WHERE om.product_code = ''
  11. I've also added a ticket to the V6 hub to see if it can be enhanced in v6 https://github.com/cubecart/v6/issues/207
  12. I've got a script we can run to solve that for you.. Just need to double check a few things with you via the support ticket we have open and then I can look to run that for you
  13. hi Simon, I just wanted to let you know that I reviewed your requirements, but I don't think it is something that I personally can deliver due to the effort involved and some of the required skills fall outside of my own skill set, but I do hope that somebody else can deliver this for you as it would be really funky!
  14. This is solved, it turned out to be an issue with the install of the plugin. One of the custom hooks was in the wrong place. All good now
  15. Hi Guys, thanks for pointing out this issue, I am working on fixing it at the moment and will publish a new version of the plugin next week.
  16. EMSFlowers is finally live after quite a lot of time and effort and my wife changing her mind , were a small indapendent florist in Somerset and are adding new products each week. Would be interested in feedback, good or bad. http://www.emsflowers.co.uk
  17. Price Tiers (Discount) - found on the 3rd party forum This will do exactly what you want, without the need to have to modify every product in your store. You can create different rules for each customer group, thus giving you what you need. just create a tier with a value of 0.01, so when your customer spends more than 0.01 it will trigger the % discount you want based on the cart value.
  18. I've just released an advanced UPS module which should solve some of the problems being mentioned in this thread. Check out the commerical mods on the cubecartforums web-site
  19. Morning All, I have released a mod which addresses this issue. It is a basic plugin that allows you to bypass tax rules for specified customers. It is available from my web-site, details can be found on the cubecartforums in the V5 commercial mods section. Noodle.
  20. Afternoon All, I have been working on a suite of mods for CC5 that integrate with CC5. I am looking for a small number of Beta testers at the moment to aid with the development of the plugins before I formally release them. At this moment in time I am looking for beta users who can help me test the "Ebay Sales" plugin. This plugin allows users to send their cubecart inventory directly to ebay listings. I will also be looking for testers for the import of ebay orders into cubecart plugin in the future. Anybody interested? Cheers, Noodle.
  21. I just setup 2 stores to do this. one for trade, one for retail and made the trade store registered users only which are authorised by myself.
  22. Hello peeps, I have been using Cubecart for a while now, and my business is going quite well. I have been operating as a sole trader for quite some time, and have built up a lot of online customers using ebay, online store and other various locations, as well as high street shops. I have now setup a ltd company, however i have yet to start trading under it because i want to make sure i have everything in place first. My question is, what back end systems do people use to keep everything in sync? For example, stock management, sales and purchase ledgers, invoices, purchase orders, customer and supplier details etc etc I have been developing my own custom system to take care of it all for me, but it is taking a lot longer than i wanted and i wondered if there was any out of the box solutions that people could recomend? Any recomendations greatly welcomed at the moment as my system is... well.... in bits (about 23,000 lines of code so far and about 2/3 of the way there after 6 weeks.) Thanks in advance
  23. Some of you may already know (and I hope all in business know) that today is the day the WEEE Legislation kicks in. Ive been reading the finer points of the laws today, and it seems they have overlooked the online retailers quite a lot, which is handy. There is one reference to distance selling, but the wording of the document seems to make out that is it only for "producers" not retailers. So, i think for now, there is no reason for online retailers to comply with WEEE. The act is here: http://www.dti.gov.uk/files/file35992.pdf I like some of the wording. "If you sell new electrical or electronic goods to private householders then you will be required by the regulations to provide free in store take back of WEEE, or contribute to the costs of establishing take back facilties at local authority civic amenity sites" Notice how it says in store. yes, i want people to take their goods back to my web-site :dizzy:
  24. I found a solution (kinda) by removing the empty statement from the code. problem is, if a customer comes back to the store, and has something already in the cart, it will erase the order again, if they empty the cart then its ok.
