  1. Mod support should be requested in the third-party forum or direct with the author. This forum is for core product support only. Thanks.
  2. It says this on the announcement post too ;)
  3. You completely cleared the store cache as the instructions stated? the smarty template system looks to have been updated, therefore clearing the cache would have been imperative.
  4. Did you clear the store cache? Have you submitted a support ticket?
  5. You can't just say 'no good' without saying why. What problem did you have, and have you submitted a bug report?
  6. I presume you have reported any bugs you have found in the bug system?
  7. It's not an ecommerce option. It's a decoding system. You need top contact your hosting company or look through their FAQs.
  8. It means you don't have Zend or Ioncube installed on your hosting server. You need to contact your hosting company.
  9. You're trying to install CubeCart via Wordpress? You can't do that, it's not a Wordpress plugin. You need to follow the CubeCart installation notes.
  10. pdl, the upgrade service was temporarily suspended due to demand for the service being too high to allow the developers to also respond to issues being reported by customers. It is inevitable that software at this early stage of first release encounters issues, as it is impossible to anticipate the wide variety of environments people have CubeCart installed on and the wide variety of ways of using the cart software people want. CubeCart v5 uses the latest PHP stable releases to make use of the latest PHP security and features, something invaluable in this security conscious business. This will be an issue with ALL security conscious ecommerce software vendors, and ISPs should be keeping up to maintain the security on their servers. You shouldn't be blaming CubeCart for the old version of PHP on your hosting server, this is an issue you should be addressing with your ISP. The contents of the .htaccess file can be found in the General Settings section, Search Engines tab. It's for the search engine friendly URLs.
  11. As long as you have the captcha code enabled, you should be safe.
  12. There are solutions in the third-party forum.
  13. I am having the same issue and I have my general settings set to SMTP. I am noticing that this issue occurs mostly with customers who have gmail accounts. Any other ideas? Ask Google?
  14. Just add product options.
  15. Official Devellion support policy has not changed in years. There are currently no Merchant Center fixes planned for v4 to my knowledge. This has been left to the third-party community. I expect these requirements have been, are being or will be resolved in v5 if necessary.
  16. The answer is yes, however third-party products and services can be found at cubecartforums.org. This site is for core product community support Hi Robsta, Could you please point me to the right mod on cubecartforums.org suitable for v4? I had a look at all mods listed there but I could not find the one that would effectively remove/switch off the cart and leave the site purely as an online catalogue. Thanks in advance. You need to inquire over there.
  17. If you don't want to enable spam control, the only solution to completely remove tell-a-friend (and cover for upgrades) is to remove elements from the tell-a-friend template. Of couse, leaving a comment in the tell-a-friend PHP file stating the code has been removed on purpose will cover the upgrade issue if you remove code from it.
  18. There is currently no solution for this in the core product, therefore you should inquire in the third-party forum.
  19. CubeCart will only work as a shopping cart without customisation to perform a different or altered purpose. If you only want PayPal buttons and use the PayPal checkout, you don't need CubeCart to do that. Any customisation requests should be directed to the third-party forum, as this forums is only for core product support. Thanks.
  20. You're on a Windows server, and the restore process did not maintain the case of the tables. You need to restore the DB again, and look to see if there is an option to main case sensitivity.
  21. Third-party customisation requests should be direct to the third-party forum, thanks.
  22. Version 5 is completely different to v3. Any mods or skin design will not be usable on v5. You would need to redevelop your skin to how you wanted it, and product options would need to be re-created for each product. With the upgrade process, anything standard in the v3 installation will upgrade to v5... products, categories, site docs etc. You can run a development installation separate from your main store without any problems.
  23. Sounds like the credentials for accessing the database in the global.inc.php file are not correct.... note the message: Access denied.
