I had this very problem, then I realised that I only had 1st class shipping info filled in, in the ship by weight module. As soon asI entered the 2nd class information, it was being added. This was my thread on it.

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way of calling into the template other modules used in cubecart. I'll give you an example. I would like to customise every page title using the automated content modules of the page. In doing this, I would like to add {TXT_PRODTITLE} to the global template index.tpl in the HTML Title tag so it appears at the beginning of the title bar. However this does not work. Any ideas on how to do this? Is there a list of the modules which are usable in the global templates? I notice within the products, it appears at the end. Is there a way of editing this order?

Is there a way to add shipping method descriptions? For example, if I chose to use Royal Mail and a courier, the cart will show only the price for each method. There is no distinction in the dropdown list as to why there are different prices. The payment gateway modules have the ability to change the text that gets displayed, it would make sense to do the same to the shipping methods.

Silly question, but is the shipping module enabled?

Does anyone have a mod for this UK courier? I would like to use Initial City Link, but the current shipping options are not ideal for a one weight/price range system. Or suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Problem solved. The zone requires a second class price/weight list. What a pain, what if there is only first class? I wanted to use this option for a courier, they don't have first and second class pricing. Anyone know how best to configure shipping for 'Initial City Link'?

You need to be logged in to a frontend cart account to see the shipping and tax information. This is the only way the cart knows where it's being shipped to.

Hi, Does anyone have any ideas with this? I've attached a screen shot of the calculation error. The cart total gets passed to paypal, therefore no shipping fee is added to the order.

In which file does the 'Latest Product' code reside? Was having a look and couldn't see it...

I can't think of many shopping carts that do add it earlier, unless it's a flat fee no matter what is purchased. The address stage is the first stage that the cart will know for sure where the goods are to be delivered to, which has an impact on the shipping cost.

I'm using cc3.0.6. I've just configured shipping by weight, and was testing the module when I realised the shipping figure was not being added to the basket total. It is being added to the basket contents list, just not added to the calculation. I only have the shipping by weight module enabled. I'm not using any mods. Has anyone else come across this?

It is not entirely true that search engines don't trawl the code. They do trawl the code, but look for specific code, alt tags, name tags, links h1, h2 etc tags etc etc. CubeCart will be fine with search robots, however there is much much more CubeCart could do to help give search engines what they're looking for. My advice to get search engine robots to your site.... put the site link on all emails, invoices, documentation, posts in forums, profiles in forums, use Google site maps, Froogle, alt and name tags, well worded links, encourage friends/clients to link to your site, and tell all your customers to tell their friends, use correctly formatted keywords and description and other metatags on your website, and drop a billion business cards over your nearest city Hope this helps :D
