Thanks for your reply. Is this on the todo list in the development of cubecart6 in the near future(to improve the cache, speed of pages evt.)? I like cubecart and would not like to migrate to a other shop for now - but in my continuing growing store I can be forced to take action on this in the future.

What I need is a rule that looks for these:- cat_{catId_here}.html- prod_{productId_here}.htmland does the redirect to the CC5 URLIs that possible somehow?

I have some problems with the CC6 cache. Every time a customer place something in the basket , every time a customer logs in or out , in fact every time a customer switches page or category, then the client session updates and the cache clears. The logs shows that almost at every page-shift the cache clears, and then use a lot of power to fill it again ... only for it to be emptied by next page view. Try look at: classes/database.class.php : about line: 197, 366, 747, (CubeCart version 6.0.6) all lines where it calls : Cache::getInstance()->clear('SQL'); That command empty the the cache. My question is why does it clear the cache that often? Is is possible to fix so the cache can be used with maximum outcome? It this on the to do list for further versions? Thanks,

Okay thanks for the answer. Great so actually I can use it the otherway around as well? I mean: I can Merge to a file Download the file from FTP Change the words I want changed(All Phrase Group in one file makes it easyer to locate words by search) Use the "upload/import Language" and trick "overwrite if already exist" And then save. Hi, I have a question regarding Merge to file function. What is this? As I understand its a function that copy the lan-defines to a lan-file on the server. Is this correct? I tried making the file -> download it -> translate some words and uploading it(by replace the existing one) but the translations does not take effect. Am I doing anything wrong? Hi, My cubecart often freez if I "stess" the site and click more than one thing at a time. Doesn’t matter if its in admin or frontend. Sometimes there can be a freeze where I can’t use the site in 5 min. I can surf around and do other ting on other sites so its not my internet line. I happens on my friends computer to. Can anyone tell me whats wroung here? I run CC3 on a PHP4 server. Have 3100 products in my store(but the site react quick with just single/normal clicks/surf around the site).

I’m running CC3.0.15 and want to upgrade to the newest stable CC version because of slow site load. The slow site is because of the SEO mod(by rukshanf) I have for my store. I have 3000 products in my DB (still growing) I have heard that the CC4 are included SEO modul and should be a lot better regarding the site load. Any comment? My question is then what I do with my SEO urls? I need them to be exact the same so google can find the pages. Can this be done? And how? Slow site is the only thing why I want to update. I have a lot of mods and it will be a lot of work. So if anything els can help on the problem, I would be glad. I think 3 sek a long time before the site start load the content. I dont know what the site is doing in this time? I dont think its the server. Can any one see what the problem is?

Hi, I have a problem. I need to use PHP5 on my server but everytime I turn it on (from php4) my CC3 store dosent work. Whats wrong here? Do anyone know how to fix it? Also I have an other problem. My ping time is very bad. Alot of my costumers complain about long loading time. Its not my server but the code/scripts I think. Do you know what the problem is? Hi, I downloaded the DK lang. file from cubecart.com. And after some fix bugs, the file worked. The lang. file contains some danish special letters. The lettersare correct in the file but when I go to the front or back(admin) the letters are shown as: "¤". How can I fix this? I belive it has something to do with the chartset? Am I right, and where do i change this? Thanks, for a great forum.
