I believe Al (head poncho of CC) has taken on more staff for the upcoming release of CC4 and CC going back to the original price is to invest in this release. Just what I heard, dont shoot me if im wrong though. Burgensteen

First of all adjust your boxcontent in Layout.css width (make it smaller) + give your subcat pic a little less height. + you got URL to site ? Burgensteen

Visit the third party sites situated at .org or look in my link. They can probably help you the easiest over there. Burgensteen

Download the web developer add on for firefox. (Google for it). Click on css in the new menu that will apear after install then click on view style information. This will allow via a red outline to see in the web developer text box where to make changes quickly and easily.(just double click over the bit you want to know about) Hope this helps Burgensteen

Looking good. A few points, 1....Your home page link is too far down the page for my liking, its not immediately present, you have to look for it. 2....The gap between the search header and search box could be a bit smaller (it breaks up the continuity of your left hand menu. 3....Same as above but for the testimonial link. 4....There is no email address or contact form (I think this can put people off, I would never buy from a store that is uncontactable). Like I say, just some constructive critisism and my opinion (for what its worth) But coming along very nicely. Burgensteen

Goto skins/ legend/ stylesheets/ layout.css and at the top you will find: body.....this controls the background outside of your cart (the overall color in the background) #pagesurround.....controls the actual cart background. #subsurround.....controls the top part round about the topheader pi background. Tell you what the best thing to do is, Make a Backup of your store, or at least your layout.css and your style.css (And dont touch them unless you make a mess of the others and need to re-use them) Download topstyle light (google for it), download your style.css and your layout.css (via ftp) open them up in topstyle light and you will notice that when you click on a particular part of the page it will give you the attributes on the right hand side (set the right hand side on properties, on the botton of the pane). Re-upload the file to your store (FTP again) and see what happens. I found this the best way to learn the CC css attributes. Hope it all goes well for you. Burgensteen

You got an alignement problem with your product description, check nutritional info on a product !! The header top part of your site looks good but the cat, mail, feature, etc look a bit week at present, they need beefing up a bit, might be just me but the top and bottom dont seem to go together. On you r cart page next to sport nutrition by brand youve got a thin black line ??? But coming on nicely mate

This isnt realy the place to discuss 3rd party mods, try going over to cubecart.org and look under communities, give them a browse and you may find a forum that can answer your problem !!!! Burgensteen

With all due respect, you seem to be fairly new to this sort of thing, why not go over to www.cubecart.org and look under communities, if you check out the communities there you will find one with some free skins and some amazing commercial ones, give it a check, I dont think you will be disappointed. I believe there is a commercial mod that with a tweak of the output text can do just this, it is a product disclaimer, I have never used it but I believe it is at the bottom of the individual products in your store and you cannot buy the item unless the tick box is checked. cant put a link here due to the forum rules though sorry. Guys, this is the last post I will make in this forum as I think it’s deviating from the whole point of my original post: I am not making demands on anybody or assuming anything, just asking people who want to, to help the cause. I must admit I am a bit bemused about the responses made to my original post!!!! I only wanted to ask CCers who think it is a good cause to consider it!!!! I didn’t want to go down the road of personal opinions or assumptions and apologize if I have offended anyone, this was not my intension. Maybe this has highlighted a possible consideration for a group to get together and put some form of communal charitable website, with rotational causes ( I only say this as there are so many). Brivtech, if there is anything I can do t help your charity work please feel free to PM me, I too do something similar but for Breast cancer and trying to get involved with NACC (national association for Crohns & Colitis) and trying to get a client involved with sponsor a child on their website for a reduction in fee at present. Thanks to all who have put the link on their sites :(

I am just trying to help. If you feel nobody is helping them then why not get involved yourselves with these orginisations like i am trying to do ? instead of trying to find fault with situations in the world................... try and help solve some of them.

Like I say, I dont want to get caught up in the politics and am keping my own views out of it, just want to do the right thing. You cant solve all the problems in the world but you can have a damn good try (especially when it costs nothing).

Brivtech ,I wasnt there so I cant comment on what did or did not happen, all I know is what the media is saying (which I take with a pinch of salt) and am not after starting a debate, just want to see a little girl get back to her parents (& a link on a CC website costs nothing). It may not bring her back but it shows willing. Thankyou for not being the one to remove the link, I for one very much appreciate it.

Hey guys and gals, Why doesnt everyone who thinks its a good cause put the clickable banner from bringmadeleinehome.com/news/ on their CC site and any other they may have, but think about it all the CC sites in this forum with the banner on them, thats a lot of help going towards a good cause. Roman1 if your bothered about people posting Copywrite issues in the show off forum why are you posting: I see no constructive critism or praise of the store concerned, just Copywrite issues by yourself (and reciprocating what you belive to be rudeness-- which would make you rude aswell.......wouldnt it ) Just parts-- Your store is looking cool mate, you should be proud of it and dont forget youve got all the time in the world (or until you retire from all the money your gonna make) to make improvements. My appologies about the site docs, but your top copywrite is still missing though and by the fact you have not removed the bottom copywrite i assume you have not bought a licence. Burgensteen
