  1. Hi First time posting, so please bear with me if i missing anything.... I have been having issues with CubeCart SMTP functionality. When filling in the form for the mail settings, and then sending a test email, I get an error saying "could not connect to server". This has had me stumped for a couple of days - until I realised that the tests are not trying to connect with the host that I have specified in the SMTP host field. I use office 365 SMTP so their mail server is smtp.offic365.com which uses TLS and port 587. However, every time I verify these details and attempt a test email - I get a response from the server where the website is hosted on - not office 365's mail server. I have raised this with the web host provider, and they have assured me that because I am specifying the host "smtp.office365.com", the problem isnt with their server.... I feel like i'm going round in circles, but the SMTP response deffinitely does not come from the server I put in to the smtp host section in CubeCart. Just for the records, I've also tried googles smtp server and that doesnt go through either... that also responds with my hosts server - not the one I enter in the smtp host box on CubeCart....   2. For the last 3 months I have been using invisible reCAPTCHA without any issues at all and over the weekend it has turned it self off. I am referring to the setting in Store Settings>Features then under Bot Protection the field ' Enable Google reCAPTCHA' automatically changes to 'Off (Not Recommended)'. I then change it back to 'Invisible reCAPTCHA * (Recommended)' Roughly 20 minutes later I refresh the page and the setting is changed to Off again. I have put a new site and secrete key in but it is still happening. I am using retail therapy skin on version 6.2.0-b1
  3. Hi Coders! I am in the need of a couple of modifications. The website concerned is http://www.firstchoicemobility.com I currently have a large dropdown menu that works fine apart from when the web browser is resized. the text then gathers up on the left hand side. Apparently this is because the coding used (Isotope) for the menu should not be used like that so there is no fix. So I would like a new menu created the same without the browser resizing issue. The ability to print off or save a PDF of a product page (I have a sample of what i would like the layout to look like) The ability to re-order images to display on the product page in the order i wish. Please contact me if you are able to carry one or all of the modifications. Thank You Gary
  4. Hi There So I have been using Cube Cart for my online store and I am getting this error every time I upload a image to my Products. I have a lot of product on my site but no image to the products. I need to fix this very soon, My site is going live soon. Server Responded with 500 Code
  5. I just upgraded to 6.2 from 6.1. I did a manual FTP upload as the auto installer would not upload. After the upload, I entered my website https://theflylingkolache.com/setup, the website automatically set itself up and is now in 1 large straight line downward. My 3 pictures that scrolled across the screen are now one on top of the other. Where I used to have 3 items across along with new items and best sellers, they are now one on top of each other. Is this an easy fix? I guess I could always try and restore the old version. Thanks, -Harvey
  6. Today I recieved a email form the stores email to my admin email that I didn't send my self with some type of russian letters. I'm the only admin. This is some of the email... "SEOcax <[email protected]> escribió a Oportunidades de negocios (Business opps): --------------- рекомендации по продвижению сайта - seorussian.ru" Me email is registered in the stores email log. I'm running latest version. (think I upgrades on the 14th.) All ready changed passwords. Has someone else had this problem? Fixes? recommendations?
  7. Every time I try to login as a customer to test my site, it gives me either a blank page (in Safari) or a HTTP error 500 (in Chrome) when I enter my credentials. Any idea on why this might be? Or how to fix? It might be worth mentioning that I am running 6.1.12, not sure if upgrading will fix the issue. Any and all help is very much appreciated. Thanks.
  8. So, we have had this issue pop up. If I get a notice that a product's price has changed, I have gone to that product, changed the price, then did a Save/Reload. Everything looks good on the admin, but if I log in as an end-user, the old price is displayed. R

  10. Since upgrading to 6.2, I've noticed that the google categories for our products have been slowly disappearing. It seems, when you edit an item, although you can select the category, when it's saved the value is cleared. So in effect every time you edit an item the previous category is deleted. As an experiment, I tried using the demo cubecart store on cubecart.com and it does the same thing .. Of course, it could be something I've done. Mike.
  11. Really like v6.2.0. It's been a journey getting it working, but orders are coming in. Latest issue is the order notification email is not sending until the order is moved to processing. How would I change that so the email is sent once the order is received into the system? I am using Brian Smither's Dropship Products plugin to notify manufacturer/departments that they have products ordered. This plugin runs when the order is moved from "pending" to "processing" and is working correctly.... It's the initial email that an order has arrived that is not delivering as soon as the check out is completed. Right now we need to check the Dashboard > Orders to see if any orders have been received. Thoughts? As always, thank you very much for any assistance. Randall

  13. ISSUE RESOLVED - see final posts. Hi, I've created a backup and got a file called "database_full_6.0.12_mravico_shop_10May18-212618.sql.zip" which shows in my Admin panel, and I have downloaded. I tried to do a manual upgrade to the latest version (v6.2.0 from a zip file I'd downloaded) and it didn't go right. My site is now inaccessible and I can't get the backup restored. I've tried various things around the Backup / Restore function in CubeCart Admin panel as well as cPanel - no luck. Help! Thanks...
  14. Hi, I have make an upgrade from version 6.1.4 to version 6.2.0 The update is make with the default Foundation skin. After the update is the new functions not active. With a new installation with version 6.2.0 works it correct. With kind regards, Martin Verkerk
  15. I first noticed a problem this morning when I noticed an order had been placed at 09:34 but I had not received any email notifications. On looking at the order it stated in the transaction log “Unspecified error” under Notes. On looking at the System Error Log there were a number of entries. See attached. I have sent a test email which I receive and it appears in the email log. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
  16. Is there any way in admin/Product to have an "Add manufacturer" feature in the dropdown menu where you add the manufacturer instead of having to go to the manufacturer menu section each time you add a product? Thanks in advance, Claudia

Hi, I've seen someone had same issue with updated to latest version, I followed instructions via FTP to update, when i add item to basket and try to click on it i get: /# instead of redirecting link. Currently i'm using faundation skin from 6.1.15 which seems to work but there is system error msg : File: [cubecart.class.php] Line: [1280] "SELECT `I`.`product_id`, `C`.`cat_name` FROM `CubeCart_category_index` AS `I` INNER JOIN `CubeCart_category` AS `C` ON `I`.`cat_id` = `C`.`cat_id` WHERE `I`.`product_id` IN (218) AND `primary` = 1 ;" - Table 'xxxxx.CubeCart_category_index' doesn't exist I guess it might be due to faundation skin used from previous version.
  19. So, I have had really good luck with v6 up to this point. The original "store" is still in production, but I have had other "fingers" get involved trying to help. This has broken the ability to update, change product pricing, etc. So, learning from my mistakes, I have built a new server and installed the latest v6.2.0. Love it. Went together very well. My issue is I do not want to "restore" the new store from the old store BU because I do not want to inherit issues from the old store. I have moved all of the images over, was able to get a good export of products and imported them into the new server. I'm installing and configuring the plugins as we go. Getting to the point..... is there a way to import my customer list? I only have 79, but there is a bit of data with each. I do have a good export of the customer list. Any help would be appreciated.   20. We're very shortly moving our shop to a new server, and in the process, updating CC from the aged 6.06 (yes, I know...) to the most recent version. My assumption is that the process, simplified, should go more or less as follows: 1. Take backups of existing site. 2. Re-acquaint self with code modifications, and the reasons for them. 3. Install old version of CC on new server. 4. Import site from backups. 5. Re-apply code mods. 6. Ensure site is working and take more backups. 7. Update CC to the latest version. 8. Re-apply code mods. 9. Update plugins. Am I missing anything crucial?   21. I've been using the Galaxy x skin for a few years now and it's a great looking skin. I'm trying to replace the images in the slider box. I'm using the cpanel file manager, navigating to: public_html/skins/galaxyx/images/examples folder and uploading the new image files. The new images are showing in the folder but the web site doesn't change, it still keeps the old images. Anyone have an idea of what I'm missing?
  22. Just a thought - that way, we could list upcoming items for which we do not have the full details, and adding to cart before we have set a price. This would then allow the product images to fit within the template grid, without having to resort to using a document set-up.
