Back again - So I have set up the "PayPal" plugin via cubecart This morning I received an order about 5am - Cube cart shows an order - I can open it and hit the "status" adjuster and print the order. BUT I have no order in paypal - I have no email order from paypal. I have nothing to actually show that the order worked but the order in cubecart. WHY? Also - I figured well maybe it was something I need to check out and test. So I attempted a sample order of my own - not with the same paypal account the website is linked to. I selected an item - put it in a shopping cart - clicked pay with pay pay - logged into pay pal - selected the payment option - and hit pay. At this point the page loads to a blank screen with a URL of http://timesforgottendvd.com/index.php?_a=confirm&token=EC-9P491046EL491422D&PayerID=6PYK8ZRRCVKLS I cant click anything - it is an apparent "Confirmation" page yet I have nothing on the screen. What went wrong? What do I need to do? NOT only this isuse is present - AFTER attempting this - I went back to the website to try again and the shopping cart still shows an item - so I hit "view cart" but when I hit view cart it shows this http://timesforgottendvd.com/index.php?_a=confirm and a blank screen. again what went wrong? PLEASE assist as quickly as possible

Instant Payment Notifications sent to the following URL(s) are failing: In my PayPal profile the URL is as below and I suspect it is incorrect. Instant Payment Notification (IPN) ittps://www.stortvalley.co.uk/checkout/action/ipn/ What should the correct URL be for CC5? PS I have changed an "h" to an "i" in the link above otherwise the URL is unreadable Many thanks Jeffers

Hi i am using INR as default currency.But when i checkout with paypal it shows error as paypal does not accept INR.I want to keep INR as default currency but need to send USD converted values to paypal.Can somebody help.Thanks in advance.

Disclaimer: I despise Paypal, so I really don't care. I have a question about the Gateway->call() function. When the IPN comes in, all the stuff in POST is used to make a $request, and the answer to that $request is tested to be either 'INVALID' or 'VERIFIED'. Assuming 'VERIFIED', the code then looks at $_POST['payment_status']. If $_POST['payment_status'] is 'Pending', the code calls $order->paymentStatus(Order::PAYMENT_PENDING, $cart_order_id), then calls $order->orderStatus(Order::ORDER_PROCESS, $cart_order_id). The question is: Assuming PayPal's 'payment_status' as "Pending" means exactly that, why is CubeCart setting the status of the order to Processing?

So, I've had this issue since CC3. And I want to fix it in 5. How can I add a couple of links to the admin orders overview screen? Basically, I want a link to PAYPAL and a link to my shipping carrier. What do I need to edit to get this to work? Here's my story on this. CC5 is great, but I still am stuck with Paypal and as I understand it, there is no way to fully integrate Paypal into CC. By that, I mean I can not have information from Paypal inserted automatically into the CC orders. For instance Tracking information when shipping through Paypal. Paypal is my only payment option, so when they pay I use their confirmed address in Paypal to ship. This creates a tracking number in Paypal that I need to manually copy over to the cubecart orders. From there, I used to be able to use Paypal to request carrier pickups, but that link in Paypal is broken so I do that manually now as well. I hate Paypal more and more everyday, but it seems to be the most readily acceptable payment form online. So some minor tweaks to put an admin at ease is great! Thanks!!

We tried enabling PayPal Express checkout for our website and we encountered with an error as follows The PayPal API has returned an error! Ack: Correlation ID: Version: Error Number: Short Message: Long Message: This does not have any logs being found on the Paypal side. The redirection to PayPal did not happen and before that we are facing with this error. Can someone help fix this?

If you are having the occasional difficulty with a shipping or payment processor refusing to accept data submitted to it, the cause may be due to that data having other than the official two-letter USA state abbreviation. For example, the data submitted may have Illinois, but the processor requires IL. To find the proper abbreviation from the database Geo Zones table, the Addressbook must have the state ID number. Having updated the database from CubeCart3/4's Customer table, which held whatever the customer entered for a state name, the CC5 Addressbook now has those phrases. Also, due to a bug, CC5 may have recorded into the Addressbook, the full state name, or allowed the customer to manually enter something that looked like a state name, from a form during checkout. Hi, I am new to this forum so any help would be much apreciated. I have made a site for someone and it has never been running right from the start. Every time i put a test order through it goes through fine, as soon as a customer puts an order through, is shows on the oder list but there is no order confirmation email and the paypal account is not credited. The only difference I can see between my orders and the really customer is the fact that I have not registered and a customer and for some reason, when I process an order it goes through as Paypal Express, but customers orders are coming through as Paypal_Pro_Mark. I have not used cubecart before and really have no idea what is happening. Any help on this would be amazing!!! The website is www.rachel-george.biz

The majority of my store works with a local payment gateway that only accepts Rands (ZAR) - I have therefore set my default currency to Rands. I would also like to be able to add Paypal as another Payment option, however they do not accept the Rands currency. I therefore would like to default Paypal transactions using USD. The problem is that the payment transfer passes the default currency as Rands even if the storefront is changed to use USD. I have therefore gathered that Cubecart uses the default currency setup for all payment transactions. Please can anyone advise how I can make the Paypal payment method default to USD with the correct currency conversion without changing the stores default Rand currency. I am using Cubecart 5.2.0.

Recently started administrating a store for a client. His existing CubeCart store is version 3.0.17 (PHP 5.2.17, MySQL 5.5.29-log). Current gateway is Paypal IPN. We are currently not able to accept credit cards since CC only partners with Paypal on Express Checkout from everything I can find. Under the Express Checkout gateway, I am supposed to make sure the API is pointed to this particular URL, but underneath that states "This file does not currently exist." How do I get the API certificate and will the URL for it to point to work? Is there any kind of users manual available online for this old version? Am I just out of luck on such an old version?

Hi, I've got a Cubecart 4 store that uses the PayPal payment gateway using IPN and got the email from them stating that HTTP 1.0 requests will no longer work after Feb 1, 2013 and they need to be updated to HTTP 1.1 - is there a plugin/update available to download please so my store will not be affected?

I've suddenly become unable to receive paypal payment confirmation at my admin email. I've tried submitting test orders, and receiving the Order Completed email, but not this email once the payment is made. What might be causing this? I'm unable to see anything in the admin panel that controls these emails, and I hadn't made any changes in months to the site files (this started happening 2 weeks ago.) Any ideas? Hello Everyone, Paypal wants me to "Please send some additional information" to confirm my identity. Then, It states that I have nearly reached my "limit" and wants to "collect" more information about me.Is this safe? Who can see this information? Thanks everyone - Also, I got a few payments from my family in america and a few other people and I haven't declared tax on it, Will the government find out? -
I upgraded the store from 5.1.0 to 5.1.3 yesterday. Since, I've done the upgrade, I have had two major issues: When the order is tranferred to PayPal for payment, only the postage is billed. However, my dashboard tells me the entire order has been paid for. One customer was honest enough to tell me that he was only being billed $4 for a $50 order. Some orders will appear with no items listed and just the postage. I have attached a screen capture of this The contents of any order that was placed prior to yesterday has now disappeared. I did a database backup both through cubecart and my hosting company prior to updating. The hosting database restore continues to show orders with no contents. The cubecart database restore shows complete order, but nothing beyond last weekend (despite being backed up yesterday). I have also attached a screen capture of this. This is on top of the 10 - 15% of orders that do not transfer to PayPal cleanly and are thus lost, unless I send a manual invoice. Hi We are using Express Checkout Only (UK or US) in the alt checkouts section. I dont think we are using it correctly as the user has to be logged in order to get to the payment selection - but thats another issue. So I create a cubecart account uising address1. In the order I change delivery address to address2. I then click the Paypal button and then log in to paypal. The delivery address in here is address1. I change this to address3. When I return to the sire the billing address is now address3, the delivery address is address2. ANybody fixed this? Thanks

Hello , Being as though I've tried disabling the paypal payments plugins many of different way's this pay with paypal button refuses to go away, Which is in turn causing alot of problems being as though we're not using paypal as a payment method, Alot of customer's are confused by this , And I'm looking for a way to get rid of it, Because through the payment gateways / modules is NOT doing it. Solution: Admin Panel: Dashboard » Settings » Hooks » PayPal Pro Disable everything there........ haha +win!

Site was working normal, however when people go to pay via credit or debit card it comes up with this error. I logged into the cardinal centre (https://paypal.cardinalcommerce.com/) with the existing 3D secure details. It said my password had expired. So I changed it. Added it to Cubecart and it still says the same error. Has Paypal changed something that could break Cubecart? if so is there a patch to fix it? Just to add, the site had worked since cubecart 5 and had been taking 3D secure payments since yesterday.
