  1. How to force CC 5 to redirect admin access always via ssl? Thanks, Peter
  2. When SSL is disabled all domains when typed appear as written below: example.com http://example.com www.example.com http://www.example.com When SSL is enabled and forced on all pages: example.com http://example.com www.example.com http://www.example.com ^ ALL redirect to https://www.example.com/index.php The https://www.example.com is correct but index.php is being appended, for seo purposes I'd like this removing, not the *page* index.php as assumed in an older thread, just the url. I've had a look at the .htaccess but cannot find any reference to index.php being forced on the domain. I could write a redirect from /index.php to the root of the domain, but it feels like an extra redirect on a redirect. I'd rather fix the initial redirect. E.G currently http://example.com is classed as a redirect to https://example.com/index/php so rather than adding another redirect to a redirect, I'd rather fix the first one thats sending the user to /index.php. A lot of redirects lol Thanks in advance
  3. Customers are not able to login with their accounts after i have removed the ssl checks from the store. 6. I am not able to access the admin panel of the cubecart on my site as it is showing the error as "SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length". Infact i m able to login but whenever i click on any of the link in the admin panel it shows the error. I have searched and found someone saying to upload editconf.php file in the root and change the permissions from there but i am getting an error on line 92. I am not even sure that i got the actual code for editconf.php... Help required... Thanks in advance!!

  8. Hi, just added SSL to my cc4 site, first of all it caused errors when I did not have it set to 'forced' as then I could not log in as a shopper, so i have set it to forced now. However, in the address bar it is showing session id info - eg : "ccUser=a04306f542b83c1392971e6423a50dd7" Which is obviously not ideal, this disappears if I turn off "Use search engine friendly URL?" - but obviously I don't want to do that either! (as it looks rubbish and Ill have to redo all my google merchant center feeds) Am I missing a setting somewhere? Any help would be great Thanks Mark

    SSL problems

The SSL is working fine, except for one problem. When using Chrome or Explorer, the browsers are saying that there are parts of the page that are not secure. The user will get this notification when they go to the shopping cart. When you don't load the "unsecured" parts all of the CSS stuff is not there. Any thoughts or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
  10. Hi All I cant find much information on this problem when searching the web. We have a store up and running fine, we have installed an SSL cert so that we can integrate the worldpay system we are using for the payments. When you type the store in the browser with the https it works fine, however, when you click to view the it fails and you get this error: Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects. Can anyone help with this, it is a cubecart 4 build website. I have not encountered this before. The server set up has just a public_html folder when I ftp into the account. Please help. PS: I would give you a link to the site, but the store is closed unless logged in as its ready to go live... just need to fix this.

    Implementing SSL

I am trying to use the SSL feature. Here is what I have so far: SSL root path : https://###/username/shop/ SSL Store URL: https://###/username/shop/ Standard Store URL: http://www.###.com/shop/ I am using a shared secure server because it comes with the hosting package. What is happening is this: http://www.###.com/shop/username/shop/index.php... What am I doing wrong? What I would really like to do is just have the checkout in SSL. Is that possible? Any info is greatly appreciated.
