  2. Since upgrading to 6.2, I've noticed that the google categories for our products have been slowly disappearing. It seems, when you edit an item, although you can select the category, when it's saved the value is cleared. So in effect every time you edit an item the previous category is deleted. As an experiment, I tried using the demo cubecart store on cubecart.com and it does the same thing .. Of course, it could be something I've done. Mike.
  3. Really like v6.2.0. It's been a journey getting it working, but orders are coming in. Latest issue is the order notification email is not sending until the order is moved to processing. How would I change that so the email is sent once the order is received into the system? I am using Brian Smither's Dropship Products plugin to notify manufacturer/departments that they have products ordered. This plugin runs when the order is moved from "pending" to "processing" and is working correctly.... It's the initial email that an order has arrived that is not delivering as soon as the check out is completed. Right now we need to check the Dashboard > Orders to see if any orders have been received. Thoughts? As always, thank you very much for any assistance. Randall

  5. ISSUE RESOLVED - see final posts. Hi, I've created a backup and got a file called "database_full_6.0.12_mravico_shop_10May18-212618.sql.zip" which shows in my Admin panel, and I have downloaded. I tried to do a manual upgrade to the latest version (v6.2.0 from a zip file I'd downloaded) and it didn't go right. My site is now inaccessible and I can't get the backup restored. I've tried various things around the Backup / Restore function in CubeCart Admin panel as well as cPanel - no luck. Help! Thanks...
  6. Hi, I have make an upgrade from version 6.1.4 to version 6.2.0 The update is make with the default Foundation skin. After the update is the new functions not active. With a new installation with version 6.2.0 works it correct. With kind regards, Martin Verkerk
  7. I first noticed a problem this morning when I noticed an order had been placed at 09:34 but I had not received any email notifications. On looking at the order it stated in the transaction log “Unspecified error” under Notes. On looking at the System Error Log there were a number of entries. See attached. I have sent a test email which I receive and it appears in the email log. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
  8. Is there any way in admin/Product to have an "Add manufacturer" feature in the dropdown menu where you add the manufacturer instead of having to go to the manufacturer menu section each time you add a product? Thanks in advance, Claudia

Hi, I've seen someone had same issue with updated to latest version, I followed instructions via FTP to update, when i add item to basket and try to click on it i get: /# instead of redirecting link. Currently i'm using faundation skin from 6.1.15 which seems to work but there is system error msg : File: [cubecart.class.php] Line: [1280] "SELECT `I`.`product_id`, `C`.`cat_name` FROM `CubeCart_category_index` AS `I` INNER JOIN `CubeCart_category` AS `C` ON `I`.`cat_id` = `C`.`cat_id` WHERE `I`.`product_id` IN (218) AND `primary` = 1 ;" - Table 'xxxxx.CubeCart_category_index' doesn't exist I guess it might be due to faundation skin used from previous version.
  11. So, I have had really good luck with v6 up to this point. The original "store" is still in production, but I have had other "fingers" get involved trying to help. This has broken the ability to update, change product pricing, etc. So, learning from my mistakes, I have built a new server and installed the latest v6.2.0. Love it. Went together very well. My issue is I do not want to "restore" the new store from the old store BU because I do not want to inherit issues from the old store. I have moved all of the images over, was able to get a good export of products and imported them into the new server. I'm installing and configuring the plugins as we go. Getting to the point..... is there a way to import my customer list? I only have 79, but there is a bit of data with each. I do have a good export of the customer list. Any help would be appreciated.   12. We're very shortly moving our shop to a new server, and in the process, updating CC from the aged 6.06 (yes, I know...) to the most recent version. My assumption is that the process, simplified, should go more or less as follows: 1. Take backups of existing site. 2. Re-acquaint self with code modifications, and the reasons for them. 3. Install old version of CC on new server. 4. Import site from backups. 5. Re-apply code mods. 6. Ensure site is working and take more backups. 7. Update CC to the latest version. 8. Re-apply code mods. 9. Update plugins. Am I missing anything crucial?   13. I've been using the Galaxy x skin for a few years now and it's a great looking skin. I'm trying to replace the images in the slider box. I'm using the cpanel file manager, navigating to: public_html/skins/galaxyx/images/examples folder and uploading the new image files. The new images are showing in the folder but the web site doesn't change, it still keeps the old images. Anyone have an idea of what I'm missing?
  14. Just a thought - that way, we could list upcoming items for which we do not have the full details, and adding to cart before we have set a price. This would then allow the product images to fit within the template grid, without having to resort to using a document set-up.
  15. I can't seem to find a a link from the admin panel where to edit the top menu. I haven't done any changes to this website in years and do not remember how to simply add links or edit the top menu bar..? Thanks all

  19. I've now changed our site to SSL, but when activated the browser shows an alert indicating that parts of the site (images etc) are not secure. How do I fix this? Thanks.

The issue with the current checkout is that VERY FEW customers understand they can make a shipping selection and instead just proceed with the default setting (which is the cheapest and slowest option). For limited shipping choices, radio buttons would be much better. In the medium and small checkout pages I want to be able to get radio buttons for shipping working for Cubecart v6.0.12 Foundation similar to this discussion for v5.2.1 - https://forums.cubecart.com/topic/47002-resolved-default-shipping-method/ So far I have this adapted from bsmither to replace the code in content.checkout.medium-up.php starting around line 49: <td colspan="4"> <p>{$LANG.basket.shipping_select}:</p> <ul style="list-style-type: none;"> {foreach from=$SHIPPING key=group item=methods} {foreach from=$methods item=method} <li style="padding-left:14px;"><input name="shipping" type="radio" value="{$method.value}" {$method.selected|replace:'selected':'checked'}" /> {$method.display}</li> {/foreach} {/foreach} </ul> </td> It works but it's very rough. What I need it to do is: Have the $method.display text as labels or links to activate the correct radio button on click (all buttons are being called "shipping" so they should probably be in a group but have unique names so that labels work) Update the page on radio button checked to refresh the estimated postage and total (like the existing select shipping option does on select) Overwrite the two local shipping options to show only one option (Air Mail) if the order is outside my own country - and have that pass through to the order Then it's a matter of making it pretty, disabling the cheapest-first sort on shipping, and making one radio button already selected. I'm just working with two options from the By Weight shipping module at the moment.
  21. Love Cubecart! I am only using CubeCart as a catalog, but I'm trying to add a simple Form CGI POST script for a 'Buy Now' button in the Product Description. This will send a very small amount of product information to my bolt-on commerce cart (Americommerce). This works great in all of my websites (including Joomla Virtuemart), but within CubeCart it does nothing when I click on the 'Buy Now' button. I imagine this may have to do with the 'security token' sanitizer. Is there anyway to simply make a call to my bolt-on commerce cart using CGI script? It's always been so easy within HTML and other PHP -based websites... works like a charm on all form data. Any help would be appreciated. PS.The reason I use the bolt-on cart to manage my commerce is that I have many websites being hosted across many domains. I don't want to setup a new commerce system for each website. I use a single bolt-on commerce system across all websites to manage shipping, customer communications, etc. from Americommerce without logging into 20 different instances of a shopping cart to do the same thing.

I have CubeCart v6.1.14 installed and my server is currently running MySQL v5.1.73 (even though cubecart.com says 5.5 minimum) I understand that you should not upgrade directly from 5.1 to 5.7, but should go 5.1 to 5.5, then 5.5 to 5.6, then 5.6 to 5.7. However Plesk does not yet support 5.7, so I won’t be going that far. 1/ What do I need to do with my CubeCart database if my server is upgraded from MySQL 5.1 to MySQL v5.5? and then... 2/ What do I need to do with my CubeCart database if my server is upgraded from MySQL 5.5 to MySQL v5.6?
  23. I just updated to Invisible reCAPTCHA (or so I thought), but when I look at my site, it is still using reCAPTCHA v2. I deleted the old Site and Secret keys and registered new keys, and ticked the Invisible reCAPTCHA at google and in Store Settings. Any ideas what's happening? http://nucleusfilms.com

  25. Is there a way to add product images to a documents file so they scale in a responsive manner, as per the homepage's main template grid?
