  1. Hi, I am building a webserver as we are migrating to a new website soon and I'm installing our current website onto an in-house webserver running xampp. All the databases and files are configured and ready for use however the homepage (index.php) is blank as is any other php file for cubecart. I have tested to see if it is a php issue by installing wordpress and wordpress works fine. As our website was tailor made and running cubecart version 4.4.4 we were unable to update the version as it would have broken our system. I'm wondering if it is a license issue or a config issue that is causing the blank screen. This is the only thing that is stopping me from completing the migration and any help on this would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance

  3. I have the facebook social plug in installed, and have set it to appear at the bottom of all the site DOCUMENT pages. The Facebook button appears at the bottom on all site documents - except the contact page (which is fine) and the homepage document - which is really the only place I NEED it to be. and idea why it displays on all document pages except the homepage? Or even know how to tweak it so it only appears on the Homepage document? Thanks Tom

We have been working for many years with a dedicated CubeCart programmer and support person who is in the middle of some family issues at the minute and we'd like to try to solve some things on our own so as not to bother him. But we are really in a jam. We have a large online store and have been receiving word from many users that they are unable to order online - they place the items in their carts, but there is nothing there when they try to check out. Also, there is an issue with using their accounts to sign in and complete the sale. We recently asked our CC support to install a plugin that would allow for batch updates of prices (like switching all the products in a category at once). As he is unavailable to ask if this plugin is the issue, we thought we'd try the forum. Here's the link to the site. I've also attached two of the emails that we have received about the issue.   5. Hi, I'm getting orders cloned (with different order number) if customers backs out after having selected Paypal as paying option. This doesn't happen if the user hits the cancel link on the Paypal page but it does happen if the browser back button is used. Is there a fix for this?

  7. Before we get started, I have NOT had any problems with undeliverable emails until my upgrade to 6.0.10. I understand that this could very well be a server hosting issue, but I have contacted them and they're telling me that it's because of invalid email addresses, however, the emails are verified as I have been communicating with them because the customers are contacting me from these same emails asking for status updates (they're not getting those emails). So, I have contacted Dreamhost they were no help, they insist there are no issues. I am receiving bounce backs for emails (see below). These emails are not specific to any one email service provider. It is occuring with mostly Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, Hotmail services. If I create test accounts with fake domains, the emails go through. Is there a way to see what's going on? Where the issues really are?   8. All of the prices are being displayed with a comma rather than a decimal in my shop. ie. "$55,00" instead of "$55.00" Not a huge issue, but I was wondering if there is an easy fix for this. Thanks in advance.

In this case the site functions just fine, but this error message will confuse and scare people away from the site. Odd you can click the error message "off", login/register, and complete the transaction. What is missing is some text stating: In order to complete your transaction please login or register. So to clarify the error message appears as soon as you go to the shopping cart, before you have a chance you creating your shipping address.   10. Cubecart V6. Yesterday a person tried to buy an item. The order appeared in the admin section. No payment showed up. I contacted the person. He said that when he went to check out, his basket was empty and the item wasn't available. I only have one of the item and the inventory reflected that it was now zero, since the system thought the sale went through. I reset the inventory to quantity one. I asked him to try again, but send me a screenshot if he still had problems. See attached screenshot. This time, the ordered never appeared in the admin section, and the inventory was unchanged from qty one. He said he ordered only one. I have had no other problems like like before. Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be or how I can troubleshoot it?
  11. I had an order come in yesterday with 4 items in the cart. 2 x $8.00 = 16.00 1 x $54.00 1 x $54.00 Total should have been $124 However, the total came up $70.00 + shipping. The customer completed checkout through paypal and paid the 70 and shipping. I have since closed the store to try and find out why this is occuring. I can't see any reasoning. I do not have coupons or anything of that nature to cause this. I am running 6.0.8

Hi Team, we are running digital shop on cubecart names https://hindikaraokeshop.com. so we didn't have any shipping method, for this we have installed one free shipping module in back-end and using free shipping but some of user is facing issue to place order. Cube cart is asking for shipping methods. i have attached screen shot for the same. if we will delete this customer and add him again so it will start working but in this case we will loose existing order and all old order so please suggest any solution without deleting this user. Please suggest any solution as soon as possible. Thanks
  13. New Cube cart user here. I have had it loaded on the server a few days just tinkering around and learning how it works. Started entering products yesterday, got a few entered and was able to do an export of all 7 of them, worked great. Added a few more as well as background stuff like part numbers, weights, raw descriptions. I then imported and had it do a full overwrite of products. I then went into cubecart and formatted out the descriptions, added images, set categories. Now I am looking at doubling the inventory by adding a different weight of each product. I tried to do a catalog export and it is only exporting 4-5 products and a few times has said there are no products to export? I know I can do entry in cubecart, but doing base new items in a spreadsheet is so much easier since a bulk of the information is the same for every item. Can anyone help?
  14. We have Identified a problem with the bulk mailer on our cubecart version 4.4.4. All of our emails are falling into spam at the moment and the main issue is caused by an invalid message ID in the email headers. For example, currently our message ID is sent as <randomletters&numbers>.<morerandomletters&numbers>@ I believe for this to be valid, the domain name after the @ should be present. As this is not the case at the moment our emails are being flagged as spam by numerous mail clients. How can I configure the bulk mailer to add the domain name after the @ in the message ID?
  15. Hi everyone, I get this error when trying to checkout "Error: Security header is not valid Security error", (see screenshot below). I have tried on both sandbox and live same result. Additionally: on the checkout page there is a button for payment with credit cards which doesn't seem to be sending any data. when trying to use the button "or pay with paypal" nothing happens.   16. Hi - first time using CubeCartv6 had been waiting for WorldPay to complete the installation on the payment gateway and at the moment i'm in the payment gateway test mode. I have two issues that I cant see mentioned anywhere: 1, When transferring to WorldPay 'country' => $this->_basket['billing_address']['country'], should be defined as "The shopper's country, as 2-character ISO code, uppercase." this is mandatory, currently 'United Kingdom' is sent to WorldPay. If I hardcode to 'country' => 'GB' this works OK, is there a translation page that can translate the country name to 2-charactrer ISO code? 2, with https://secure-test.worldpay.com/wcc/purchase the return URL to CubeCart has the following: http://test.mysite.com/index.php_a=complete&orderKey=123456789^123456789^3043418930&paymentStatus=AUTHORISED&paymentAmount=4500&paymentCurrency=GBP&mac=aaabbbcccdddeeefff111222333&source=WP However the order doesn't change from 'pending' to 'processing' - can anyone tell me why this is?
  17. I upgrade from 6.0.8 to 6.0.10 last Thursday All orders since that date cannot have their status changed by Admin What happens is a "blank screen": Chrome reports 'No data received'. Firefox reports 'The connection was reset' The apache error log shows nothing. Hmm, and I just looked at the access log and that is showing nothing too, no request gets sent to the server The original status change from Pending to Processing that happens when a payment succeeds *is* happening. We have checked changing "Pending" to any other status, and "Processing" to "Complete" and all result in the behaviour above PHP version 5.3.3 Apache 2.2.16 Ah, apache "root" error log is reporting "child pid XXX exit signal Segmentation fault" which Google tells me is likely to be some sort of internal PHP error - any chance anyone in the know about what has changed in the order status change code that might be relevant to this?
  18. Argh..! Just installed cubecart v6.0.10 and according to the installer everything went right. However, after creating several categories and one products I have just realised that clicking in any of the links to either pages or categories yields no result. Few details: Site was installed manually and was not part of "One click install" software from hosting provider. During installation all instances were marked green and no issue was encountered. During installation some of the folders permission had to be chmod to 777 as 755 was still considered unwritable. Anyone has a clue? Thank you in advance all

  20. Hi, I have installed Cube Cart v6 and setup it up completely. I noticed that every time you click on "checkout" or "view basket" I get "HTTP 500 internal server error" I used foundation as my template. I tried the mobile version and it gave me a blank page. Any help?
  21. I updated a product file and clicked on replace products. I thought it would only replace the items in the file. Now my items are all gone except for the 130 that I thought I was updating. I tried to Restore the last database, but still no products. I did clear the cache after too. Is the a way to get all my products back without having to reinstall all the product files?
  22. Hi All, I want to install e-Shift template. (Again). I had it installed, made a change or two like usual, and then it stopped scrolling with the mouse and the up & down arrows won't scroll either. I deleted it and reinstalled it, and it still won't scroll. Other skins work fine.

  25. Hi, My store www.kidsplayhousestore.co.uk has started showing all my products at £0.00, even though they are set at proper prices via the admin back-end. Even if I clone, create a new product, or edit and re-save any existing products they also show at £0.00 only - I cannot find a way to make them show the correct price. I am running ver 6.08 and php version 5.6.15. It was working fine earlier and I haven't knowingly changed anything to make this occur. I have had to make all my store products invisible apart from a single test product, as I cannot risk customers purchasing at no actual cost. I have also cleared back-end caches etc, to no avail. Can anyone please help me with this? Anyone else had this problem before? Many thanks Billy
