  1. Hi, Royal Mail is refusing to give access of their Click and Drop API to Al/Cubecart for the development of an integration between Cubecart and Royal Mail Click and Drop. The main issue is apparently the potential resulting cost of support ! Another reason is that small businesses must post more than 100 orders a day. The judgemental error that Royal Mail is making is to look at Cubecart as one small customer rather than a collective of small businesses being our ecommerce platform. The Electronic customs compliance is approaching fast, 1 January 2021 so we must act now to make them change their mind. They gave access to their API to Woocommerce, EKM, Bluepark and all, why not Cubecart ! If you are using Royal Mail for your shipping and would like an integration with Click and Drop, please reply to thread or DM me so that we can send them a list of existing customers they may well lose to competition. Without an integration, they expect us to manually import the data into their system, madness ! Thank you.
  2. It would make the extensions marketplace much more useful for everybody if people downloading and using any type of extension could start using the review section. CubeCart V5 was designed to use plugins and skins that could be used without changing any core file, meaning users could easily add functionality to their stores and now V6 has built on that with the extensions marketplace providing the fantastic ability to install directly from within the store using tokens.
  3. Under Manage Extensions, I have installed Authorize.net Gateway (SIM) installed. It works great for accepting credit cards. [Note: I know this is deprecated in favor of Authorize.net Accept Hosted]. Anyway, I would like to have a 2nd copy of this extension appear on my Checkout page so that I can separate e-Checks from Credit Cards. One extension would be Priority 1 with the Description an image of a credit card, and the other would be Priority 2 with the Description an image of a check. Is this possible? I just need a way for the Gateway to know whether a user will be entering ACH numbers or credit card numbers.

Hello all, I have seen on another shop site a popup that "Pop's Up" which looks like PayPal reminder that says "Before you go" would you like to email to yourself the cart contents or to someone else"! so you can return later and purchase the items in the cart. Is this something in CubeCart that can be added or PayPal coding that can be added. Thanks, Malcolm
  5. Firstly, I am so so sorry if this has already been asked before, I have trawled the forum and couldn't see anything similar. I am creating a website providing for several clubs. I have 3 delivery options, but not all clubs use all three. For example, for members of one club they want me to provide Home delivery (£5), collect from their club HQ (Free), and collect from my shop (Free). For another club they may only want collect from their club HQ. Do any of the shipping extensions allow this configuration by product or category. I can see the 'by category' option, but it looks like i can only choose one delivery method then adjust cost. I want to present the customers with the delivery options approved by their club.   6. I am unable to find the answer and I have found similar issues but their fix has not worked for me. I am sorry if this issue has been solved with others. I just cant seem to find it. I have added the All in One Shipping Module and the PayPal Commerce Platform and they seem to be working until it is time to check out. When on the shopping basket page there is the option to choose “to continue to secure checkout” or “PayPal Checkout”. If customers select the PayPal Checkout a pop-up opens to allow payment to be made. The problem is that when customers choose this route, the shipping charges are not calculated in. If they chose to click the “to continue to secure checkout” shipping charges are added appropriately. I have gone into the PayPal area and I have set shipping charges and set the shipping charges in the All in One Shipping Module. I have searched for days and I am unable to find a fix. Please can someone assist me? I am unable to figure out how to delete this PayPal Button until after this shopping basket step. Thank you in advance for your assistance and time.

Hi, For customers like us using Royal Mail, we have serious problems ahead as Royal Mail now wants all customs forms outside the EU electronically as from 1st January 2019 ! see https://www.royalmail.com/business/services/sending/international-data/more-information If we don't, it will cause delays and the US for instance is saying that they will start charging fees to our customers once the bill is passed. Brazil and Russia have already stated that they will not accept any parcels as of this date is the customs form is not digital .... (https://www.royalmail.com/business/services/sending/international-data/more-information) There is no integration available right now and Al tells me it is rather complex so will not develop one. Royal Mail is pushing for Click and Collect but even then you need to be able to import your orders into Royal Mail's website as an excel or cvs file. At the moment Cubecart cannot do that either ..... Someone else earlier this year was asking the same question but apparently only a V5 was available, see Can I please ask all developers to re-think this one, it is critical right now for all Royal Mail customers like us.   8. Hi everyone, Please could someone help me. I have a site setup on CubeCart and everything is working perfectly, apart from I cannot get the WorldPay extension to work properly. So within the extension, I only have these settings: Installation ID (which i have populated) Test Mode (which i have set to 'Enabled - Always Successful' for now) Authorisation Mode (which i have set to 'full') In WorldPay I have lots of options for my installation: Payment Response URL Payment Response enabled? Shopper Redirect URL Shopper Redirect button enabled? (Note: If set to true, the "Shopper Redirect URL" field must also be supplied) Enable Recurring Payment Response Enable the Shopper Response Suspension of Payment Response Payment Response failure count Payment Response failure email address Attach HTTP(s) Payment Message to the failure email? Merchant receipt email address (if set, overrides value at Merchant Code level) Enable Mobile Pages? No Worldpay Header enabled? Remove Breadcrumb? Info servlet password: Payment Response password: MD5 secret for transactions: SignatureFields When i try and test a WorldPay payment, I reach worldpay hosted page, I add in card details, it then asks me if i want to authorise or decline (as it is in test mode), then if i choose approve my site emails me my order has been placed but worldpay shows a success message and does not return to my site. What options do i need to fill to trigger this? Also if i click cancel payment i am not returned to my site. What am i doing wrong? Does anyone know of any documentation that could help me? Especially if i want to enable the password options? Cheers, Sam
  9. Hello I would like to install an affiliate extension on my cubecart store, so that my customers can promote products and receive a commission on each sale. There are several free extensions on cubecart marketplace, My question is: is it free or are there other costs that I have to pay? Because I tried to install one of these programs [idevdirect], but I could not complete the process because I needed to create an account there and it was costing to open the account $75. If purchasing is a necessity, can you please inform me of the most economical option. My online store is still new (One Month) and I have only made several sales, so I do not have wide investment options.   10. Hi all, I am newbie to Cubecart (version 6.2.9) and I am enjoying learning it's features and how it works, since this is the first successful attempt with an eCommerce package. I was looking at the extensions available as I would like to ship via Royal Mail or Hermes but there does not seem to be an extension for them to add to the shipping section, can anyone assist with this?
  11. Hello! Running the latest version CC6. When I place an order, the store sends out a notification email and all seems to work fine on both front end and back end. However, Paypal doesn't receive any funds. So, we have a pending order in the dashboard but no money ever being spent. I've disconnected the Extension from Paypal and will connect it again as it is the only thing I can think of. Anything else to look into? Thank you! William
  12. I am trying to purchase the Action Popup Plugin on the marketplace but I am getting an error stopping the purchase. I have logged in to my PayPal account and even tried a different personal PayPal account and it still won't work. Any suggestions? CubeCart 6 Debugging: on Caching: off Cloudflare cache: off Browser cache: off Web server: display all errors Since the documentation for writing plug-ins in lacking for anything much beyond "hello world", I've resorted to brute force, line-by-line tracing. I'm working through the visitor stats sample plugin, I'm trying to trace program flow. In every PHP file in the plug-in, I've tried: inserting an echo statement with the filename using echo to insert a script tag to log the filename to the console writing the filename to a log file in a writable folder saving the filename to the $_SESSION None of these efforts did ANYTHING. Just as a test, I inserted what I knew to be syntax errors, invalidated the class, tossed garbage in, NOTHING CHANGES. No logging is done, no errors thrown, the debug section shows no PHP errors, the admin error logs show nothing. I've made enough mischief till kill the cart a dozen times over, what's going on???

  16. We're looking to extend our cubecart install to handle our equivalent to serial numbers and warranties. Manufacturers are responsible for dropshipping and we'd like to give them the ability to assign a serial from an existing pool of numbers to the product they ship. We offer a one year warranty on the products and would like to notify customers that their one year is coming up for renewal. Currently, we send an email at 30 days, 15 days, and 5 days as a renewal. What we would like to have is this same functionality but have the reminder emails stop if they renew/repurchase. Please send me an email and/or a PM so we can discuss costs and delivery times required.
  17. do you have any recommendations for an shipping mod that is product specific? We have items that typically don't weigh a lot but are high dollar and need to be insured. We want to factor that in automatically, any thoughts? We have a large contrast some items cost $1200 and some $2.50 so I want to make sure shipping cost and item insurance is accounted four.

  19. Hi, Today I noticed a prob while I was filling an order. The problem is coordinating the order invoice produced by Cube cart with Paypal. CC calculates the invoice total price with product price plus a USPS calculated shipping per weight and by destination. This is good. Then the PayPal Braintree module takes that total price of product plus shipping and adds another shipping charge for a different total price. For example; In one order I am looking at, a $22.95 product creates a $16.82 shipping cost in CC plus a PayPal shipping charge of $7.95 for a grand total shipping charge of $24.77 I did not see anything in the PayPal Module itself, so I suspect that it has to do with the actual PayPal account itself. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight into this particular situation because the forums here have really proven themselves useful. Thanks.
  20. This may be a question for Braintree, but I've integrated the Braintree extension in my shopping cart since it's the recommended extension for PayPal. It works just fine. Is there a way to disable the credit card portion and display a button for PayPal only? I do realize that people can use their credit card via PayPal, but I don't want to show the Braintree Credit Card Gateway. I figured I'd just install the PayPal extension (v. 1.0.8) instead, but when I do I receive the following error from the PayPal gateway: Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks, Steve

Hi, Just installed the Canada Post extension, set it all up, made sure all my products have weights, size, etc. Now when testing the checkout process I have discovered that there is an error saying my product is too heavy or can't be shipped to country... wtf?? |Has this happened to anyone else? I only ship to Canada, so my default postal code(shipping) and countries is all set in the extension...did I miss something somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated
  22. Hi, I am looking to offer customers the option of paying by instalments and wonder please if other cubecart users have found a provider. My products are approx £25. I currently use Paypal which is working ok. Suggestions most welcome. BTW I am completely hopeless at tech and rely on Al to get me through hiccups.

Hi I am trying to install an extension on my local machine just using simple token which i copied from extension directly on Cube Cart Official Website (https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/shipping-methods/flat-rate).
