  1. So I set up the contact us page thru “File Manager > Contact Form†I input the info and sent a test email – nothing Used a different email address – nothing Used a third email address – nothing What am I doing wrong? My Cubecart is up to date with the latest version.
  2. Well after fixing a problem with my "Contact Us" page not sending emails to my email addresses I uncovered another issue. This issue would be that my customers order "status" emails are not sending to my customers. It’s being blocked or otherwise denied delivery to my customers and I don’t know why. Example: Order placed - customer is supposed to get an email. This appears in my site email address after every instance an email is to be sent: "Mail Delivery System - 11:27 AM - Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" This is supposed to happen when the order is placed, when the order is paid for, and when I place the order as complete. All three things cause emails to be sent. So I am getting three failed to send emails for every single order I have had in my site since I upgraded to CC5. My email account had more then 500+ emails all saying the same thing. What might be the issue? Are all my emails being blocked by every email provider out there?
  3. Hi everybody, long time lurker here. Wanted to say thanks for all the help you have all provided with problems in the past. I'm currently having an issue with getting the email address of a logged in user. Basically, what i'm wanting to do is get the email address of a logged in user, and if that email address matches a specific email address then display a hidden category. This is due to our biggest customer not wanting their products easily accessible by other customers, and i'm trying to keep them happy by only showing the category with their products to them. I have had some success by putting the following code in the box.navigation.php file: {if $USER.email == '[email protected]'} <li class="li-nav"><a href="www.page.co.uk/category.html" title="Customer Name">Customer Name</a></li> {/if} However, this only displays the extra link when I am on the "index.php?_a=profile" page, which is where I got the variable "$USER.email" from, so I assume this variable is only available to that page. What i'm looking for is some way of getting the current user email address reliably so my website knows when to display the category, or an alternate way of only displaying this category to a single customer.   4. Hi, I've been using cubecart for about a year and in mid december I stopped receiving emails from the system telling me I had orders. This, in turn also has shown that I can not send ANY newsletters out? Any idea how to resolve this? regards Andrew www.themoodybear.com
  5. I would like to add tracking to the 'order complete' email. I don't see an example of this macro in 'admindocumentsdocuments.email.inc.php' hlp plz. -John
  6. Is there a quota that needs to be met before the emails go out within CC5? I have attempted to test the contact us form and it is not working. I have also created a test user to do the testing with. When a user creates an account, do they get an email? My test user did not get an email either. My website does allow php mail as I use it for the forum software without an issue....
  7. Hello This issue has been going on for a long while, and CC support say that they have never encountered such an issue. From time to time we receive hundreds or thousands of New Order emails that have no data in most of the fields apart from the country. The country was always Serbia, and when I temporarily removed Serbia from the list of countries, it changed to Montenegro. After deleting Montenegro, the country field is also empty. None of the CC logs show anything suspicious. The link in the email is pointing to a non existing product. There could be gaps of hours or days between each batch of email floods The email header shows that it does come from my server. Had a look at some of the server logs: auth.log and access.log all looks ok to me. I have moved the CC installation from one server to another, issue still exists. Below is one of the emails.   8. Registrations are not generating emails to the user or admin after upgrading from 4.3.7 to 5.1.4. "Recover Password" is the only User related "Email Template" I can see. Users and admins do receive emails when orders are placed. How can I send the user a "Welcome" email with all pertinent information and send admins a notice letting them know of a new customer?
  9. Hello Cubecart forums, Once again I am at your mercy in an effort to maintain my mental sanity. Since enabling the reviews option on our site we have been getting constant spam filled into the review form, the image captcha is enabled so someone is actually taking taking the time to spam the site. I had a look through the forums for an option to allow registered users only to review, no joy. So I have resigned myself to the fact that if someone wants to spam the reviews they can, while it has no effect on my site as only the authorised reviews go live, I have my shop's mailbox synced to my phone/tablet/P.C. which are now ringing and crying for attention every 10 mins. I would settle for some help in just removing the email trigger for review received, I have looked in the store/language/en/ and have found the email.inc.php file which I assume is the email controller.   10. I've suddenly become unable to receive paypal payment confirmation at my admin email. I've tried submitting test orders, and receiving the Order Completed email, but not this email once the payment is made. What might be causing this? I'm unable to see anything in the admin panel that controls these emails, and I hadn't made any changes in months to the site files (this started happening 2 weeks ago.) Any ideas?   11. Any tips or clues on how to send an email after a form is submitted? I'm looking to send a Welcome! email to anyone who registers. Seems like it should be fairly easy but I'm not smart... enough to decipher the Smarty code yet :-)

Hello, Could not find any solution on both forums so here's my (major) problem: 1) I noticed that when a client is buying multiple products, in the e-mail notification the total price is correct but you see only 1(!) product. What I want, and has to be normal, is an overview of ALL the products that the client bought. The email templates are original and my CC version is 5.14 (latest) 2) Besides that the client does not receive any email till the admin changes the status. Need solution too for this one.   14. My question is why doesn't the system send my order complete email out when I upgrade the order to complete> the other emails appear to be sent properly but the order complete does not work :-(

    Order Alert email

    Have the lite version of Cubecart, ver 3...recently emails normally received alerting us to orders placed have not been coming in. I fail to see a setting to restore this feature. Any ideas? I understand ver 3 no longer has support, however some insight would be appreciated. Thanks
