In Order->_createCertificate(), a Gift Certificate could be created that has zero value. (I haven't tried to buy a $0 Gift Certificate, so there may be tests to catch this earlier in the process.) Assume that one can buy a $0 Gift Certificate. Is there a use for such a thing? What would be the point?

Can someone please explain or give me a link to instructions on creating a gift certificate? In the store, there is simply a list of existing ones under coupons. The documentation files merely explain what you see on the page, not how to create one. Thanks!

Is there a way to create gift certificates from the backend or phpmyadmin. I'd like to create a ten dollar gift certificate for customers who have purchased a certain item in the past. I know I could try a fixed price coupon, but that was unreliable when I attempted to use it before. Thanks for any help you can provide.
