Hi It appears that from CubeCart 5.2.7 onwards, the distribution zip file and the auto upgrade process contains a copy of the .htaccess file and so if you have made any changes to this after initial installation (which you should always do to remove possible duplicate content issues due to /index.php and www. and non www. versions of the homepage) then these will be over-written. If you have upgraded your site since 5.2.7 and had made changes to .htaccess, then you will need to make these changes again Thanks Ian
