Guest Aric - Store Owner
I use CDGcommerce.com and they are outstanding. I have emailed them several times asking different questions and I always get a good response. If you use their gateway there is less costs and they also have a 100% Fraud Loss Protection. There is also a CubeCart Module that will work with their gateway too! Charles Does anyone have a link to the CubeCart Module for CDGcommerce? Thanks. Guest JaxxShirts
Just some news from someboy trying to find a payment gateway. I'm just going down the list above trying to find some decent rates. Authorize.net's rates are $79 setup + $20/month. Sounds expensive for just a gateway. I'm getting my merchant account itself cheaper than that. I just spent about 10 minutes on the phone with BluePay only find out that they were not willing to offer me a stand-alone gateway service. They want to sell you the merchant account too. And once he found out I already had a merchant account, he asked who it was with and then proceeded to bad-mouth them saying how sorry they were and how much better BluePay is. I hate it when people do that. So they will not be getting my business. I'm still looking for a decently priced gateway if anybody has any suggestions. Meanwhile, I'll just keep going down the list I guess.
Guest JaxxShirts
Another update: ccNow sounds like a good option for somebody just starting out with lower sales volume. The setup fee is only $10, and there is no set monthly processing fee. They charge 5% per sale + .50 cents per transaction. That's a higher percentage than others, but the setup fee is much cheaper and no monthly fee. So far, it sounds like the best option I've found for somebody starting out. Guest webmonster
Among above-listed payment gateways I mostly prefer and using paypal, e-gold and monebookers. I've not had any problems with them until today yet though not everybody praise them. But I think in this or that concrete case, not always payment processors are guilty of some sort of troubles such as fraud and so on. Most users face such problems and get unsatisfied with them because of their inaccurate usage and misinformation about phishing masked under the names of popular companies such as paypal and so on.
