Adding "View Basket" Below Qty & add to bskt

When I first tried it

I was somehow lost by not finding how to make the purchase

when from home one click an item it goes (and that is fine) to "product info and add to basket"

from there one needs to figure what is the next step

I would like adding the same button that is on top left

and reads "view basket"

below the "quantity, add to basket button"

the new button could read "view basket or check out"

thanks

I like the redirection option but this has annoyed a few of my customers having to go back to the cart each time...

Im working on a pop-up div that tells the user the item in added to cart and then offers the three diffrent buttons "View Cart" - "CheckOut" - "Continue Shopping"

This would be great aikdo, i played with the popup idea but wasn't keen, if you can get this to work, put me down for one ;)

A javascript pop-up would be simple enough, you'd have a small html file loaded in a new, small window with the links. If you use classes normally found in CC stylesheets you could maybe color code it with the site . . . except when skinners have changed classes or stylesheets, etc.

BUT what would really be cool is if the customer had the option to turn this notification on/off ;) :D

Will do... yea i dont like pop-up windows but i think a simply div shall work well...

Timed close aswell just incase :)

Im talking more about a Div Popup and not a javascript window popup...

but i agree a tickbox at the bottom of the div to turn it off would be a good option... saving as a cookie for 1 yr...

Customer control is the key :)

If you sell one item once to a customer and that's it, no big deal.

If you have repeat customers buying multiple items, any notification or redirection method is going to be bad for the nerves. Best to make it the default, with customer able to turn it off with a tick (and off/on in profile).

That would be the icing on the cake ;)

I would like THANKING YOU ALL

I applied the "Hack" and do like the result

However what seems to be added in the next future looks great too

I still need to learn how the whole thing works

<edit> by performing a "Post Mortem"! </edit>

but I feel comfortable enough to offer it at my clientele
