I've been down for a week, and need some help:

http://www.cubecart.com/site/forums/index....howtopic=27118:

I upgraded www.americanflagsandmore from

3.0.12 [security-Patched-1] to Upgrade to 3.0.15 with Fantastico

Now, the index page reads:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /home/amflags/public_html/classes/xtpl.php on line 359

While I am waiting for my FTP to save a backup of a CC site, I have question.

So far, I've lead a charmed life, not having to upgrade across more than a single upgrade. Now one of my installation owners wnats to upgrade from 3.0.11 to 3.0.15.

Can this be done in a single step? And which folder has the files needed?

Or must I go poco-a-poco from one to the next?

As long as you run any database upgrades found in each release, you can just upload all the files for the latest release.

Or if you wanted to follow the changelog, then you'll need to follow the changelog for each version to version till you reach the latest release.

Thanks for that info.

Ise that definite that ther is no single upgrade script?

If so, I'm still not finding the upgrade files for step by step. Do you know where they are?

TIA

There is one database upgrade 12 -> 13 looks like.

Look in the distribution... \CubeCart_3.0.15\upgrade\scripts\3.0.12-3.0.13\

Then, just upload the contents of the 'uploads' directory, with the exception of the files mentioned in here...

\CubeCart_3.0.15\upgrade\Upgrade from 3.0.x to 3.0.15.txt

includes/global.inc.php

install/

language/*/home.inc.php

I also usually don't upload the skins or Language directories, just incase. For the language files, I would look in the changelogs for updates for each release, unless you are certain that you have not made any changes to the default language files.

Hope this helps. :errm:

You'll find the code changes posted in each announcement of a version release (in the announcements section).

For ease of reference:

3.0.17 to 3.0.18

http://forums.cubecart.com/index.php?showtopic=34150

(note that there was a re-release of the zip file because of some problem with the files inside, but this should not be an issue with the changed files information).

and 3.0.18 to 3.0.19
