Experimenting with layout for first time

Recommended Posts

Guest r4mz

I have just started my shop layout but was unsure on the default page size.

After following some techniques in other forums i have made some adjustments to try and make my shop look like the rest of my site. I changed the width and background colours to make the shop look wider, but now the width is not adjustable depending on the screen size of the user. May not be needed these days but would like to know that my shop could resize itself to fit an 800x600 screen. Dont know if that matters, but any help in making the layout better will be appreciated. I dont know coding, im purely design based, so any code talk will go over my head.

Does my layout work fine? what other tricks or alterations can i make?

You should change the width to 100%, rather than setting it to a specific width of 985px.
