Killer Tabs in Legend Skin

OK, if anyone can help me achieve this I'll love you forever. ;)

[markscarts]

1. backup:

skins/Legend/styleTemplates/boxes/categories.tpl

skins/Legend/styleTemplates/global/index.tpl

skins/Legend/styleSheets/layout.css

2. copy from skins/Killer/styleSheets/layout.css:

.topCats {

	text-align: center;

	background-image: url(../styleImages/backgrounds/catBg.gif);

	height: 42px;

	color: #ffffff;

	margin-bottom: 15px;

}

.topCatsBgRight {

	background-image: url(../styleImages/backgrounds/catBgRight.gif);

	background-repeat: no-repeat;

	background-position: right;

	height: 42px;

}

.topCatsBgLeft {

	float: left;

	background-image: url(../styleImages/backgrounds/catBgLeft.gif);

	background-repeat: no-repeat;

	background-position: left;

	height: 42px;

}

and paste that code into skins/Legend/styleSheets/layout.css just beneath any }

3. copy the following images from skins/Killer/styleImages/backgrounds to skins/Legend/styleImages/backgrounds:

catBg.gif

catBgLeft.gif

catBgRight.gif

catTabLeft.gif

catTabRight.gif

catTabMid.gif

4. copy skins/Killer/styleTemplates/boxes/categories.tpl

to:

skins/Legend/styleTemplates/boxes/categories.tpl

5. Compare skins/Legend/styleTemplates/global/index.tpl with skins/Killer/styleTemplates/global/index.tpl

You will have to move the {CATEGORIES} marker in Legend, as it is in Killer, to put the category bar in position.

Were you able to get this to work? I tried everything step by step--I was a little confused about the last step, but I never did get the tabs to show up or the positioning to work. I'd love to know if you figured it all out. Thanks,

hi. I tryed to do this mod and it has kind of worked but kind went wong. lol.. can anyone tell me how to put this right wot has gone rong? i want to keep the killer categories up the top. i did wot it said but did not undersand the last 1 so i just copyed the hole categories folder to legend, here is my website i trying to build www.djstation.co.uk/upload
