Installing SSL

I have my SSL certificate installed, and I'm pretty sure all that's left to do is set the settings in Cubecart. https://www.thewifishop.net is functional, and I just want to avoid having my own 'Admin lockout' horror story.

I'm going to set

Root SECURE Public HTML Folder to store: /

Absolute SECURE URL to store: https://www.thewifishop.net

Please advise! I'm very nervous about doing this, since I'm new to ssl and I've read a few unhappy stories that went awry at this point.

many thanks,

Charley

Looks good to me. If for some reason you get locked out you can always use editconf.php to get back in.

Thank you ever so much Roban. I seem to have got it right first time.

[edit]I just scared my self silly. Please anybody in this situation, remember to clear your cookies after enabling SSL. It seems to cause some problems with cart items if you don't. [/edit]

Sincerely,

Charles
