link to page with problem: http://gemanje.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=4

I have:

changed the size in admin

changed the physical size of the picture

hunted all over while I figured out what the problem was with the popups (fixed  But now the close window button won't work ;) )

I have also put in every variation of search terms that I can think of on both .org and .com forums

It can be fixed if I resize the .pagesurround, but there has got to be a better way!

Would be willing to worship at the feet of all knowing guru...

Have you made changes to your template files like viewProd.tpl or layout.css?

I notice in your code for the image here:

<div style="text-align: center;"><img src="images/uploads/CWB_1601.jpg" alt="test" border="0" title="test" /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="java script:openPopUp('extra/prodImages.php?productId=4', 'images', 690, 550, 0);" class="txtDefault">More Images</a></div>

That extra '/' outside of the ". I don't think that is your problem but in Internet Explorer your colmid is pushing colright out. In FireFox it is just extended so I would guess that since you use a custom skin, your layout.css is to blame.

Look at the width value for colmid.

Roban, the forward slash closes the img tag properly per xhml standards; leaving it off will produce invalid code, just an fyi ~

acharme, I do not see any proble here whatsoever, other than the product image is too large. Changing the size of product image in ACP GD settings will not make any difference for that existing image - though you do need a correct setting there. What you have to do now that you already have a 500px wide image uploaded there, is you need to delete the product image, then make sure that your ACP GD setting is what it needs to be (probably about 390px)

Then re-upload the product image.

You wrote above that you "changed the physical size of the picture" but in reality you haven't, and this is the problem. The picture on your site is 500px wide and you are attempting to cram it into an area approximately 400px wide.
