Guest mistypotato
I hate to ask this but I couldn't find it by searching.... Will this software run under Windows or only on Linux / Unix? Thanks
Guest kaskudoo
the install manual suggests a linux/unix hosting - isn't that also necessary for php? (i don't think php would run on win servers)

(i don't think php would run on win servers) Well, I do have php running on the machine in question. It's a WindowsXP machine with MySQL, PHP, Perl and Coldfusion. But I don't know if CubeCart will work on a Windows Box
Guest JasonO
As long as you have the latest versions PHP and MySQL running and either Linux or Windows OS at least.. then theres no reason why it can't run. I installed a local copy on my computer which is XP Home. I do all my testing and modifications on it before uploading to my real store. Robsta
CubeCart will run on both Windows and Linux. Even on a Mac if you can install a local webserver, mySQL and PHP on it.
