Yes by using the editconf.php tool. Save the following as editconf.php, upload to your store root directory and run it in a browser. Delete it when finished.

I've got the same problem, and created/ran the file. However, my editconf doesn't bring up the list of configs to select from as it indicates on the screen.

Where it says, "Select config to edit: select($query); ?>", all I have is a ">" in the dropdown box and a default <?php echo $value; ?> in the new value box.

How can I select/edit the correct confi file?

This problem occurs when the file is read directly from the server. Try going to http://yourstore/store/editconf.php and it should work correctly.
