I also wanted to know if validation has any impact on SEO? By visitng http://validator.w3.org/ i have checked my sites pages. Im haaving issues with the following pages... would anyone be able to help me solve these issues? im trying to perform good web design practice. markscarts Posted June 5, 2007 Share Posted June 5, 2007 Well, great news on many of your errors, there is a fix posted in skins forum For instance, the first page you listed throws these errors: Result: 4 errors / 1 warning line 50 column 3 - Error: end tag for element "a" which is not open line 129 column 5 - Warning: cannot generate system identifier for general entity "nb" line 129 column 5 - Error: general entity "nb" not defined and no default entity line 129 column 7 - Error: reference to entity "nb" for which no system identifier could be generated line 129 column 4 - Info: entity was defined here line 197 column 7 - Error: reference to entity "nb" for which no system identifier could be generated line 129 column 4 - Info: entity was defined here The last three errors are all cuased by one item it is this: &nb ... This is due to the code for non-breaking space being truncated in the product description. Here is some information about fixing that issue: http://www.cubecart.com/site/forums/index....showtopic=27903 The other errors are easily dealt with.
