Problem when SSL is enabled

I can't figure out what is going on. People come to my site via http://www.keepitintimate.com, http://keepitintimate.com, then also .org, .us. The https certificate is registered to https://keepitintimate.com

If someone comes to the site from a link saying http://keepitintimate.com, then the cart is retained when clicking view basket and being redirected to the HTTPS. However if they come from any other methoed (ie http://www.keepitintimate.com) the cart is lost and the person must select the items again.

Can someone tell me what is going on? I'm losing sales because of this problem. I had to turn off my https because of it.

Thanks,

Michael Burgos

Cerificates are site specific so a certificate for http://www.site.com is not the same as http://site.com

So is it possible to assign more then one secure area? I'll pay for multiple certificates, I just can't have it redirecting to https://keepitintimate.com, from http://www.keepitintimate.com, or http://keepitintimate.com to https://www.keepitintimate.com. Since those are the 2 main links to my site I don't want to lose customers because they think the site is broken.

I need it to stay on https://www.keepitintinmate.com if it started on http://www.keepitintimate.com, and https://keepitintimate.com if it started on http://keepitintimate.com.

Can someone tell me how to do this or a work around that I can use to fix the problem?

Thanks,

Mike
