Legend skin - adding a logo onto header

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm using the legend skin, and I need to place a jpeg over the top of the header.gif background. Can someone please let me know of how to do this - I've been trying for ages! (My coding skills arn't that great!)

Thanks, I'll hugely appreciate replys :o

Create your JPG image the same size as the topheader image and put it in yourskin/ styleimages/ backgrounds.

Then open yourskin/ stylesheets/ layout.css and look for the topheader class and replace the .gif at the end if the image path to a .jpg.

Simple as that. :o

Sorry, I didn't explain well enough!

I've got a custom .gif background header (that has a gradient from left to right). But I want to place a .jpg ontop of the background, so it is on the left hand side of the banner as a logo (like on most websites!). This can then allow users to click the logo to go back to the home page and for the logo to be of higher quality than the background etc.... instead of just having a background image that cannot be clicked.

I have looked around the forums but I can't find anyone in my position.

Thank you for the fast reply... I am fairly desperate!!
