Guest CartGarden
Scenario: You want to order and send two gift baskets. One to your secretary, and one to your client. Two products, two addresses. I would love to know what you think... Was it easy / confusing? Any suggestions? Just use the modified 'Pay later' payment option (quicker for you). http://www.absolutebaskets.com.au/index.php Thanks a bundle
Guest webicon
Hi Dave, The concept- to send differnet items to different addresses is great. However I just tried this on the site, and while I was able to add additional addresses easily enough (although for some reason it does just assume that I am sending both orders to same town and postcode??), I couldn't work out how to assign an address to a particular product and there was no instruction to say put in the addresses in any particular order... As I checked out, the screen simply read: invoice address, delivery address and items in cart (as it normally would in the usual checkout process)... As a customer I'd be confused and phone up to check that the items were in fact going to different addresses and that you knew which item was for which address... What you almost need is a link under each item which says 'change/set the delivery address for this item' along with 'add message to this item'... (or where you have the link to email the order - have a downloadable PDF form that allows multiple items and multiple addresses to be added easily into a fax-back form). sherie
Guest CartGarden
thanks webicon, yeah, I think there needs to be a serious mod around the delivery thing. The client agreed to turn it all off for now... will post the mod request me thinks... Cheers for the feedback.
