Guest ian_t Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 I have been looking at setting up the royal mail Shipping Method and I can only provide prices/weight for 1 service but they offer different services for posting like:- First Class First Class Recorded Second Class Second Class Recorded Special Delivery Next Day Special Delivery 9.00am Standard Parcel Will there be a mod or will this be looked at for a future addition to CC4? I thnk the shipping by weight method is slightly better as I can Offer 1st and 2nd class rates. I would prefer to see this in cc4 as appose to a mod as updating a modded store is far more time consuming and prone to errors over a stand alone store and half the time if users have many mods they cant be botherd with updates I know this as I still have a heavy modded cc3.0.12 store updating to 3.0.17 will take alot of time. Also I havent noticed any files that state code changes in cc4 updates therefore all mods will need to be installed everytime there is an update rather than just applying the update code. I use it for my own store currently using 1st Class, Next Day and International rates.
