Take a look at http://oldcolorprint.com.

This started in CC3, and just finished upgrading to CC4.0.3.

Classic skin with some changes in layout.

Site sells antique color prints digitally restored and replicated. Originals were made before color film existed, and include some Photochroms. New option is waterproof "paper".

Where do I start without upsetting you.

The first obvious thing is that the subcatergories view behind the notice that you have on the right 'some free downloads'

It is a shame that you are hiding some very nice art and graphic works off the home page, it is boring having so much information and no graphics.

The logo could be more 'imaginative' and you are using a minor modified version of the classic skin which at its best is bland.

Now you have put a lot of hard work into this with nearly 3000 products and the site does not reflect this.

Before I popuate a site with products I work on the look and feel and functionality and then put products on it.

So my advice is get the products on the home page and a drastic design change.

Interesting.

Would you, perhaps, prefer the prior CC3 version at http://oldcolorprint.com/cube/?

Also, how does one decide full width, Classic, or in between.... with various monitors available?

Basically, in both CC3 and CC4, I removed what I consider to be puffery and distractions.

Also, what would you say about making the first page the present "Album - Tree"?

Degsey, I took your message to heart, and merged Album-Tree with HomePage, moved Freebies to the links at left.

It does give a much better first impression.

Thanks.

That looks better and soooo much better than the ver 3 killer skin site.

It has color and has become interesting.

My advice to you and everyone is always keep working onyour sites, improve the fuctionalty, if repeat visitors see change they get ineterested.

I am glad that I did not upset you too much, keep up the good and hard work.
