Guest macfixit
I am in the middle of developing our site here: http://www.macfixit.com.au/shop/ I would like fix the width so it doesn't resize when the browser window resizes. Sort of like at this site: http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/ I've been fiddling with the template files and the CSS, but I am not getting anywhere. Can anyone give us some pointers on how to do that? Hi macfixit, To fix the width simply open your skin files and go to stylesheets to open layout.css. Once it is open find 'pagesurround' and 'topheader' and they will both have a width of 99%, change them to a width of 980px or whatever size you wish to fix it to and upload new files and your done. Always remember to make a backup before anychanges
