Guest acknowledged Posted May 11, 2008 Share Posted May 11, 2008 Hi I am trying to change the home page text. I have made the home.inc.php file writable 0777. I've tried various different ways of doing this, pasting in text or changing by hand, nothing actually changes I only get taken away from the admin area to the home page. It this a problem with Cubecart V3 that happens often ? To be honest I'm setting up a shopping as a test to resell via my web design company, frankly I'm not sure if Cubecart is reliable enough - I am following the instruction to the letter and things work intermitantly or not at all what would one of my customers make of it ? SERIOUSLY I can make change sometimes and not other times, has the installation be done incorrectly? My host offers installation through Fantastico so basically its all done for you, but frankly it doesn't work ? Are there any web designs here using Cubecart for their customers ? how easy a process it that ? A view questions I realise, help with any would be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.
