Guest freifer
Did you upload admin_enc_ion.php and admin_enc_zend.php in BINARY mode, if not re upload them. Excuse my ignorance, there is instructions anywhere to explain how to do this ?
Ausy
With your FTP program you should be able to change the upload method to Binary, what FTP program do you use?
Guest markcausa
I'm also having this problem. Uploaded all files via Binary mode, still no love. My compatibility test outputs this: Congratulations. Your server is compatible with CubeCart v4 Ideas?
Ausy
Problems may be caused by an old version of Zend installed on your server, have a word with your Host and tell them the problem, alternatively use ioncube instead, but only if this is installed on your server. Guest freifer
I am the host (see my sig for details.) I forced update to the latest version. (Installing ioncube now...) I have uploaded the files in Binary and still no luck, I have a compatible version of Zend on the server. I uploaded the ioncube on the server as per instructions, and tried to install it, it fails , i am not having any luck with this new version of Cubecart, I am wondering why its made to be too difficult, I started to give up and looking for alternative. Guest markcausa
Yep, and getting resistance from support as well. I'm looking into a refund and deactivation of the license right now. Sounds like they released a bad copy.
Guest markcausa
See here: https://support.cubecart.com/index.php?_m=k...78&nav=0,17 Although I thought my agent was uploading those two files in Binary mode, it was not. How to upload in Binary Mode: Download an FTP Agent (I use WinSCP - It's free) Select "Binary" from the dropdown menu at the top-center Upload/Rewrite the two files index_enc_zend.php, admin_enc_zend.php

Guest megavox
You have to upload in BINARY *** index_enc_zend.php admin_enc_zend.php Not admin_enc_ion.php, As Ausy said. No pun intended, just for people seeking the answer in the future, eNjoY :-}
grafis
Why o why is this still not part of the setup/upgrade instructions!? Just upgraded from 4.3.3 -> 4.3.7 and boom site down. I HATE upgrading because something always fails - 30 minutes of panic, followed by cursing when I find the answer. Why do I have to scour the web for help on what appears to be a very well known issue? From the Read Me.txt - nary a word.... b. Upload the entire contents of this folder over your existing files replacing all existing ones. IMPORTANT: If you renamed your admin folder or admin.php file you must do this prior to uploading the new files and your store will work as before. Yo!! ALSO IMPORTANT Upload these Files in Binary Mode index_enc_zend.php admin_enc_zend.php
