The reason, we removed "cube cart" from Fantastico due to vulnerability issues which couldn't be fixed yet. A real SHAME that CubeCart is getitng the bad PR in the process. Still wish I knew WHAT it was about Fantastico as two of mine were. Anyway, AYK a manual install of CubeCart is pretty d*mn easy (upload folder, run install.php) so I really hope people won't be deterred! Thanks for letting us know!
