Guest totalurbanwear.com
Hi, Working for a company and would like feedback, ways to improve and how to take site forward! Styled Kitchens! Thanks, Rob
Guest Brivtech
Doesn't really grab me in any way. Sorry to be harsh: Bitty, and out of balance. Kitchens are something that are supposed to be portrayed as stylish and sophisticated, and the website does neither - Looks more like a DIY supplier for kitchens for bedsits. I'd suggest some stock photography where you portray the idealism of what the kitchen will deliver. Without it, it's as bland as a photocopied catalogue. Guest Kitchens Review
I thin uou must have changed it because it looks quite good now. Another new site just launched showcasing all the new products from the kitchen industry
Guest
I would say a *splash of colour* would do some wonders for this. Even if you were to add some colour to the headings within the boxes so it separates the actual content. Cheers Antz :)
bsmither
There's always a measure of professionalism exhibited by thoroughly spell-checking your product descriptions and other textual matter. I'm looking at "SK Solid Surface Worktops 3600mm x 615mm x 40mm" and see several easily noticed spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. Your store is a nice implementation of Killer. You've made a very good effort at customizing the styling of this skin. My comments: It seems you are selling upper-end quality and style products. But the styling of the store speaks to me of laminate and sawdust-fiber boards. (Oh, but I just now found the Axiom laminate worktops.) I'm not a marketing specialist (I leave that to my boss), but I've heard this rule, "Don't sell the steak, sell the sizzle!" The imagery on the homepage needs almost exclusive rights to as much screen real-estate as you can provide. The "candles on worktop" image has a small degree of panache, but by adding two or three people sipping wine and you've changed your focus from boring steak to exciting sizzle. Re-style, minimize, and relocate the left column boxes to significantly reduce their distractive influence. Same with the shopping basket. At these price-points, there is a modicum of truth to the saying, "If you have ask, you can't afford it." I recommend adding more marketing energy into the site and designing the lines and colors to match the exquisiteness of the products you are showing. With respect,
