Guest chris whitehead
Hi All I have upgraded to 4.3.1 (auto) and have of course lost my mods! Can i just drap the files back from my backup and will the site still run since i think there may have been changes to the sql side of things? Once running again on 4.3.0 i hope to manually change the files i have mods inside and overwrite the rest as i should have done in the first place. If this will not work and i have to reapply my mods then so be it Can anyone reccomend a good difference program to help with all of this? Thanks for any help Chris
Ausy
Yes you should be ok if you use your backup files, a good program for comparing is WinMerge. There is also a list of files that has changed here.http://forums.cubecart.com/index.php?showtopic=37937 Also there is a security update here http://forums.cubecart.com/index.php?showtopic=38261

havenswift-hosting
Thanks for that i will download it and have a go at it tonight Thanks again Chris Chris Did you get your site back up and running OK ? If you had taken a backup of all of the files and the database as well, then restoring all of the files back and also restoring the database backup would have put you back where you started. You could then modify the modded files as you suggested to achieve the upgrade regards Ian
