Guest Ricco
I have just installed the new CubeCart-4.3.3.zip on a new site & host and imported my database from my 4.2.3 but now I get this message 1054: Unknown column 'salt' in 'field list' What is wrong here? Ausy
I would think you need to run the database upgrade from the latest version.
Guest Brivtech
Exactly right - upload the 4.3.3 setup folder and run /setup/upgrade.php - That'll upgrade your database with the new tables for more secure password control, which is what this error is about. Don't forget to delete the setup folder when you're done.

Guest imjesus
Hi there, I am getting this Error 1054, and I am running 4.1.1 - do I need to upgrade my entire CubeCart or just this file as suggested in the thread? Will it cause me any problems with the rest of the store? I don't want to upgrade our whole store, not after all the mods that have been made! Any help would be great, thanks in advance. Ausy
If you only make changes to the files when you upgrade you should run the database upgrade as Brivtech has described.
Guest dw01f
I am getting the same "salt" error however I only imported part of my old database, namely the customer and order tables so when i run the upgrade script it tells me the database is already up to date. How do I upgrade the old tables specifically? :)
