I have a hard time trying to find a solution to my problem. I have searched through the forums with no solution found.

My site is hosted by 1and1 and the issue is, when I click on "view cart" I get a too many redirects error no matter if there is a product in the cart or not.

In google chrome it comes with a redirect error were it says that I need to delete cookies (or cache don't remember)

in internet explored it just hangs

on my iPhone it says can not open cause of too many redirects.

Has anyone run into this problem or have any solutions that I should do?

Are you sure it's the host causing the issue? I'm pretty sure that I remember other people are using 1amd1 to host their site with success. I would rather try and fix this rather than do all the migrating steps.

I have not yet contacted my host just yet. I guess that should be my next step. Doesn't look like this is a common problem so I hope that it is an easy fix.

Here is the exact error that I get from using google chrome if it helps -

This webpage has a redirect loop.

The webpage at https://ssl.perfora.net/decaldreams.com/ind...e8e9b099f039530 has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Its definately nothing to do with the host - I am hosted with 1and1 and actually rent 3 servers off them.

Firstly are you using SSL on your site? Did you configure it inside the admin control panel?

It may be that you have installed cubecart in the wrong directory - if you have installed cubecart in httpsdocs on your server then change it to the httpdocs directory - This may be causing the issues because inside the httpsdocs directory as standard is a redirect to the default httpdocs directory.

My recommendation

Re-Install cubecart inside Httpdocs

You can do a clean install or manually transfer the files to httpdocs then change the includes/global.inc.php file.

Thanks

Rob
