Message to CubeCart Designers & Developers

Recommended Posts

I was hoping to reach out to all CubeCart designers and developers who distribute code in the form of "mods" or "skins" for future opportunities and license issues.

Partners Section of cubecart.com

In the next six months we will be creating a partners section of our website, so we will be contacting you at some time in the future to discuss this with you and the opportunities it will bring. There may be some kind of application process so to be sure that we have high quality partners that we can get to know and grow with. Not only this but we hope to provide useful resources and "standards" to benefit ourselves and end users. We hope to coincide this with the launch of a completely new website and much improved customer area and billing system.

Mod / Skin License Issues

I wanted to politely ask all developers who have integrated their own licensing system if they can be so kind as to make one specific consideration about how they go about this. If you have some kind of software license system integrated into your mods please can you make any error notification messages clear that it is generated from yourself and not CubeCart. We have had a large rise in support tickets from customers receiving software license error messages that have not been generated from a vanilla install often in the form of JavaScript alerts.

Thank you! :)
