Guest Lingoer
I've just installed CC4.3.6 onto my localhost (trial version... have key and have unlocked it on the cp.cubecart.com/dashboard site), and all went well until I got to the last section which gave me the option to open the admin panel OR homepage. When I select the Admin Panel, all I get is a blank page... nothing. The store (http://localhost/dvd/) works fine. But, "http://localhost/dvd/admin/" returns nothing... automatically redirects to "http://localhost/dvd/admin.php" which is expected when I look at /admin/index.php No error messages... no html loaded at all. Page source is completly blank. Win XP sp3 (Wampserver 2.0) apache 2.2.11 php 5.2.

No, not yet.... though I uploaded and installed CC4 on my webserver and it all works fine... I want it to run on my localhost as I use PHPED because it has a great debugger, but this won't work on my webserver account as they won't install the debug module on their server! Guest Lingoer
Download 4.3.6 again and upload the admin.php file over your existing one with your FTP client in Binary mode. Hopefully it will be ok then. Any ideas what the problem is with the locally hosted CC4 Admin panel (as originally posted)? If it's any help, when i debug this in PHPEd starting at admin/index.php the debugger gets to: includes/functions.db.inc.php where I get this message: Error: E_ERROR Call to undefined function socket_create() in string eval()'d at functions.db.inc.php line
