SQL error when adding to cart

Hi

Some customers and when tested on some computers we cannot add to the shopping basket and get the SQL error:

1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's Up Appliques";}}}' WHERE sessId='64c48a2e7427eb7fc16c2e29bd7a9b26'' at line 1

I recently upgraded to CubeCart Version: 4.3.6 and have:

PHP Version: 5.2.8

MySQL Version: 5.1.30

Since the upgrade things seem to keep going wrong.

I aslo have a number of Estelles mods running that she has reinstalled for me. Some of my other mods have not been re-installed as I do not want to make more changes while I am having all the problems.

Last change was to use js/lightbox.js from older CubeCart version as part of pages were not downloading in Internet Explorer after the top menu. Also my light box was not working after upgrade in firefox and Internet Explorer.

Now I have the cannot add to basket problem mentioned above.

Any clues on how to fix.

Single quotation mark in product name makes mess please note html entity MUST be there.
