Card Processing Problems on cubecart.com

Over the last few days we have had a number of reports that our customers have attempted to purchase our products and services on our website to be returned with a "Time Out" error message and the order was not complete. As our website makes "sale" and not "authorize" transactions it has been reported that even though a time out message was shown, the card was indeed charged. We have no records of any of these payments at all in our PayPal account.

Our PayPal account manager has informed us at 10:26 am today (GMT) that

We have been made aware of an issue with both 2.0 and 3.0 Pro accounts experiencing host 10001 errors. Confirmation has been received that accounts will not be debited however a real time auth will be sent to processor with status of pending. These auths will fall off after 2-3 days.

We have not been given an estimated fix time for this but hope for resolution within the next 48 hours.

This means that your card will be automatically refunded two to three working days after the transaction was made. If you are still interested in purchasing our products or services then you will need to attempt a new purchase.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this and hope that you get your money refunded back to your card in a timely manner. This issue is completely out of our control and we can only wait until the issues are resolved at the payment processing company.
