Cube Cart Version 4.41

Hello,

I've installed the version CC 4.41, but when I import a catalogue, the fields are probably not well connected and the result is totally wrong! Could you please check what is happening?

Also I was trying to assign a category to the products created in bulk and the products appear in the count of the Category, but they are not there! Do I have to do it one by one, it seams to be the only working way?!!

Hi Claudia,

without more details, its difficult to diagnose what your 1st problem is. Please clarify what is wrong.

The catalogue import requires a valid CSV file. I would also suggest "quoted fields" if possible.

As a test, you could also try opening the csv file with your speadsheet program to ensure it can be read back.

The category count can be re-built under the "Rebuild & Recount" menu, then Rebuild category product count.

Hi Jason,

What I mean is that the file is readable, when I open it in the computer and I do assign the fields accordingly, but it considers other for eg: I assing description field of the csv file with the uploading field description, but in the end when I verify the uploaded products, the field that should be the description appears as the product name field in cubecart. It was not so with the 4.37 version.

When I try to assign to the products of the cubecart categories in bulk (more than one product the same category) it is not working, in the store front the count of the products by category is according to the bulk assignment, but when we check in the category page, to see the product it is not there! It was not so with the 4.37 version.

Could you please check what might be happening, maybe it is an error!

There are several other people with this same problem, including me.

The fields are not mapping correctly when importing a catalogue using CC4.41.
