I've been looking after thebronzeroom.com for a few years now and its working well, but it feels old and outdated.

So the proposed new look can be seen at www.groovypresents.com

Its using CCv4 and is meant to be a bit more WOW. However, I'd like to hear what people think before we go live.

Current (old) site is www.thebronzeroom.com (live store)

Proposed New site is www.groovypresents.com (test store)

Wow! I love your re-design. It looks very contemporary and I wouldn't have guessed it was based on the CubeCart platform.

Thanks T. It's not my sole design. The client provided a purchased template that was meant for another shopping cart and I have customised it a little and then tried to get it to work with CubeCart. It was a test to see how much CubeCart could handle.

I thnk the megamenu at the top works well. On the downside using timthumb script to dynamically resize images an the fly is not recommended in my view.

What impact do you think having one solid images for your product summaries on the home page will have on SEO? - ie.: Why havent you used CSS to style the product summary text and the price label? Also, wont this be difficult for the client to update?

I agree, the site does look nice though!

There aren't any images used for text, it all uses cufon to display the fonts, which is fine with SEO. A good test is to view the page with a text reader like http://www.yellowpipe.com/yis/tools/lynx/lynx_viewer.php

All the text and prices come straight from cubecart as per usual and is updateable the same as all normal cubecart stores.

I stand corrected. Sorry!

Good afternoon @ bennyuk ...

I was trying to see your websites, but when I see your test store, I asked for a password and a user ...

I guess they are making some changes or something like that

Speaking about "thebronzeroom" is incredible, I love the design ...

Regards
