bsmither
I have no idea if the tool for CCv3 will work for v4, but get the Config Edit tool here: https://support.cubecart.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/List/Index/24/cubecart-version-3 If the tool displays the various settings in your CC4 General Configuration screen, you can switch off the SSL setting. Again, I stress that I have no direct knowledge if this tool will work for CC4. Nor do I know if there is a secure built-in bypass method for switching SSL off. Guest M i k e
FIRST - backup your database. Make sure the backup is GOOD. (just in case) Use a tool like phpmyadmin and find the table: "your_store_name"_cubecart_config In that table is row called "config" look in there for an ssl setting and compare it to a database backup from BEFORE you made the change. (hopefully you have one) You will see SSL stuff like "ssl";s:1:"1";s:9:"force_ssl";s:1:"0";s:11:"rootRel_SSL";s:1:" One of those values is probably different than your BEFORE backup file. (like a 0 to a 1) No guarantees...but I'm quite sure that is where your setting is you need to change.... Hi all. kinetic
there IS a editconig tool for v4 login to your customer area and navigate to the downloads section it will be in there DO Not as mike suggested edit the config table in the database directly this is a sure way to hose your installation if you dont know what you are doing or arent use to phpmyadmin once you have the v4 editconfig tool unzipped and uploaded visit the file and find the setting for SSL and turn it off then delete the config tool file from your host as this is an EXTREME security risk leaving it in place once SSL is off you will be able to visit your admin w/o the https://
