Guest reirei
Hi. I have been testing my site and I got a problem with www. If I type my address just like mystore.com, all the browsers goes to http://mystore.com, and everything works fine except adding an item in the cart. When I add the item, it goes to the viewcart page with this message "your cart is empty....". At this point the url changes to https://www.mystore.com, so when I go back and add another item, it works. I checked the include/ global.inc.php and it says $glob['storeURL' ] = 'http://www.mystore.com What am I missing??? How can I always have www even when people don't type???? Thank you */*
Guest
If your hosting company allows you to alter the htaccess file, the easiest way to do it is with a rewrite rule rewritting yoursite.com to www.yoursite.com quick google search - here is a page about doing that http://www.neohide.com/htaccess-mod-rewrite-for-www-domain-name-prefix
